• CASETiFY is looking for a Legal Manager to join our in-house Legal team. As the ideal candidate, you will hit the ground running, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be detail-oriented. You are capable of effectively overseeing the negotiation, drafting, and execution of legal contracts and agreements for the Company. You have the experience to ensure the contractual terms align with business objectives and comply with regulatory requirements, manage contract lifecycles, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual obligations and risk mitigation. In this role reporting directly to the Legal Director, you will work in parallel with our current Contract Manager and lead a team of contract specialists.

Job Description

• Draft, review and negotiate the terms and conditions for a wide range of business contracts
• Prepare, review, and edit all contract documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Create and maintain internal frameworks to guide internal stakeholders on the contract lifecycle
• Ensure company contracts are properly executed and well-maintained
• Advise on contract-related risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies
• Facilitate internal and external inquiries regarding contractual terms and obligations
• Provide assessment support and advice on new business opportunities

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business, or a related field
• 8+ years of related work experience with contract management experience (people management experience is a plus)
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in an international environment with stakeholders in global markets
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
• Well-organized, and excellent attention to details
• With a high ability to work independently
• Strong command of communication in written and spoken English and Chinese

Job Description

Working together with the Legal Director, you will be responsible for, or assisting in,

• the regulatory compliance matters for the group in different markets (including Hong Kong, China, United States, and other jurisdictions), particularly in the following areas:
• Data privacy 
• Consumer protection
• Advertising regulations
• Develop and implement internal regulatory compliance policies
• Develop and maintain regulatory library, including research and keep up-to-date on the regulatory development in the above-mentioned areas and other areas as necessary (such as employment law)  
• Legal review and approval of advertising, marketing, promotional and packaging materials and the relevant terms and conditions to ensure compliance with the applicable legal requirements in different markets
• Coordinate and liaise with external/local legal counsels in different markets on the regulatory compliance matters and monitor their performance
• Create training materials, and conduct related compliance trainings as necessary, to internal stakeholders to improve regulatory knowledge 

Requirement

• 5+ years of related working experience in regulatory compliance for data privacy, consumer protection, marketing, and advertising 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related legal field (degree or diploma holder in other disciplines with solid experiences in regulatory compliance will also be considered)
• With a high ability to work independently and to plan, organize, and prioritize task 
• Being well-organized, analytical-minded, and attention to detail is a must
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with use of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

Purpose of Position

• CASETiFY is recruiting Assistant Contract Manager/ Paralegal to join our Legal team. Reporting to both the Legal Director and the Contract Manager, this role will support the contract team in the preparation, drafting, and review of commercial contracts and other legal documents. Additionally, this role will support compliance matters, focusing on researching regulations and maintaining internal regulatory compliance policies.
• As the ideal candidate, you will have solid experience in working with internal clients to review contracts and legal documents, as well as regulatory compliance.

Job Description

• Preparing, drafting, and reviewing commercial contracts and other legal documents, including license agreements, marketing agreements, artist and influencer agreements, service agreements with third-party vendors, and confidentiality agreements.
• Working with internal clients on contracts and legal documents review
• Provide translation on contracts/agreements where necessary 
• Assist in developing and implementing internal regulatory compliance policies
• Assist in developing and maintaining a regulatory library, including research, and keep up-to-date on the regulatory development in the areas mentioned above and other areas as necessary (such as employment law)  
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience in handling contract review and regulatory compliance concerning data privacy, consumer protection, marketing, and advertising in an in-house environment
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Legal Studies - Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in other disciplines with solid experience in contracting review and drafting will also be considered
• Well-organized, analytical-minded, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently with the ability to plan, organize and prioritize task 
• Strong legal research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Traditional & Simplified Chinese
