How This Role Makes a Difference
The Senior Manager, Compliance Operations reports to the General Counsel and Compliance Officer and will leverage project management and operations skills to help optimize the operational infrastructure of the Legal Department, including privacy and compliance, and providing support to the Quality Department. Like the rest of the department, this role supports Reify Health, Inc. as well. This role supports the contracting ecosystem, legal systems and technology (including Ironclad), vendor due diligence and management, compliance and privacy operations support, litigation holds and insurance notification, enterprise legal calendaring, and cross-functional legal, compliance and quality project management.
This individual will build scalable processes, implement and manage legal technology solutions, drive operational excellence, and ensure the Legal team (including privacy, compliance) and Quality delivers timely, high-quality, and business-aligned services. The Senior Manager will support the Legal and Compliance functions in serving as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, ensuring risk is managed effectively while enabling business growth.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Executing on legal, compliance, privacy and quality operations strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Assisting with improving the full contract lifecycle management (CLM) ecosystem, including workflows, templates, approvals, reporting, and system integrations and supporting overflow contracting needs.
- Managing third-party vendor due diligence, risk assessments, and ongoing vendor oversight processes, including conducting vendor assessments. Analyze KPIs.
- Supporting sustainability and other ESG initiatives.
- Supporting compliance management systems and privacy operations in partnership with Compliance, Privacy and IT teams.
- Administering litigation hold processes, document preservation protocols, and legal deadline tracking.
- Driving operational metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives across Legal, Privacy, Compliance and Quality.
- Supporting other key enterprise and strategic initiatives.
- Build, optimize, manage, and measure systems and processes that impact company’s compliance, legal operations and risk management.
- Project manage and support departmental or cross-functional projects identifying clear dependencies, roles, roadblocks, and timelines, while owning the outcome of the project and progress to deadline.
- Support vendor assessment functional processes with respect to compliance and sustainability.
- Complete and execute on risk assessment and risk management projects
- Supporting other key enterprise and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and implement performance enhancements to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability of legal services.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for contracting, compliance support, vendor management, and other legal functions; provide regular reporting to the General Counsel.
- Assist in developing and maintaining legal and compliance policies and procedures.
- Maintain centralized tracking of litigation deadlines, regulatory inquiries, and investigation milestones. Ensure legal calendars reflect critical dates, including contract expirations, notice periods, litigation deadlines, and regulatory filings.
- Support document management, records quality, and maintenance within the department.
The Expertise Required
- Ability to rapidly understand, leverage and optimize technology and systems, including for project and process management.
- Understanding of contract lifecycle management, legal operations best practices, and process design.
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption rules, Good Clinical Practice and regulatory standards, and privacy laws.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and competing stakeholder demands and high productivity, responsiveness, and achievement in a self-directed manner.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to operate strategically while executing tactically.
- A customer service attitude to help enable departmental initiatives effectively while understanding user experience, stakeholder feedback and cross-functional collaboration.
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA required.
- 5+ years of experience in legal operations, contract management, compliance operations, or related roles within healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, research or regulated industries.
- Project management experience.
- Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated experience administering Contract Lifecycle Management systems (preferably Ironclad).
- Experience building and optimizing legal workflows, system integrations, and automation initiatives.
- Experience managing vendor due diligence programs and third-party risk frameworks.\
- Familiarity with litigation hold processes and document retention best practices.
- Experience supporting privacy and compliance operations in a regulated environment.
- Experience partnering with Finance on budgeting, vendor spend, and financial controls.
- Strong project management capabilities across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Project management certifications.
How We Work Together
- Location: Remote within the United States. This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment.
- Travel: This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
- Physical demands associated with this position Include: The ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment.
The expected salary range for this role is $105,000 - $135,000 USD per year for full time team members.

How This Role Makes a Difference
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Legal team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage the development, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of contracts in support of Care Access’ research services. The Contracts Manager will effectively manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including, but without limitation, confidentiality, vendor services, clinical trial, lease, and event agreements with limited supervision
- Ensure all agreements are executed in a timely manner, in compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, company policies and business objectives
- Serve as primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries from internal stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, and Business Development
- Develop and update contract templates, playbooks, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk
- Evaluate and mitigate legal and business risks in contract terms and conditions in partnership with contracting leadership
- Maintain a centralized contract repository; ensuring all contracts are properly filed, tracked, and accessible
- Train and educate internal stakeholders on contract-related processes and best practices
- Perform other legal tasks and special projects assigned by legal leadership
The Expertise Required
- Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
- Comprehensive understanding of contract law and legal terminology
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively define business issues and recommendations
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- JD preferred or paralegal/contracts specialist with demonstrated history of excellence and 5+ years of experience

How This Role Makes a Difference
This key strategic legal resource, the Counsel, Corporate and Employment, will report to the Director, Corporate and Employment and will provide timely legal advice, counsel, and representation in connection with general corporate and compliance matters, with occasional employment and workplace law support and assisting with and taking lead on various projects and legal tasks as needed.

- Corporate Law and Transactions
- Maintain corporate files for related entities and affiliates, including preparing drafts of board resolutions, filing periodic disclosures, and meeting corporate requirements for the relevant jurisdiction.
- Research various legal issues related to corporate law and transactions.
- Assist with M&A transactions, from due diligence to closing, coordinating and collaborating with internal teams and external counsel.
- Develop deep business knowledge to provide clear legal recommendations to internal stakeholders regarding potential corporate structures, transactions, and other corporate matters.
- Assist with contract review and transaction documents as needed..
- Provide advice and support to Finance and Business partners on a broad range of global corporate issues (currently U.S., Canada, European Union, and Brazil with potential for expansion) including compliance.

We are seeking a pragmatic, business-oriented Counsel, Health Data & Privacy to join our Legal & Compliance team. This role will focus primarily on HIPAA and health data privacy advisory, negotiation of data protection and healthcare-related agreements, and support of global data protection compliance across our clinical research and operational activities.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience with HIPAA and U.S. federal and state privacy laws, meaningful experience with GDPR and other international data protection frameworks and demonstrated capability negotiating data protection and healthcare-related agreements. This role requires both strategic and tactical involvement in health data governance, privacy compliance, and complex data contracting, as well as close collaboration with clinical, operational, procurement, and technology stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a skilled writer and pragmatic advisor who communicates effectively across the organization, evaluates risk with sound judgment, develops risk-calibrated solutions that enable business objectives, and supports implementation in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare and research environment.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Health Data, AI & Global Privacy Governance
- Privacy Law Expertise: Provide strategic and practical legal advice on global privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and other U.S. state and federal privacy laws. Experience with GDPR and HIPAA mandatory.
- AI & Emerging Technologies: Advise on privacy and data protection implications of AI-enabled tools, machine learning systems, and other emerging technologies involving health and personal data. Conduct and draft legal risk assessments addressing automated processing, training data use, model outputs, human-in-the-loop safeguards, cross-border considerations, and evolving regulatory frameworks.
- Clinical Support: Partner with clinical and operations teams to advise on privacy and data protection matters related to clinical research activities, including cross-border data transfers, site operations, and subject data rights.
- Contracting & Transactions: Draft, review, and negotiate data processing agreements, data transfer agreements, data sections of clinical trial agreements, licensing deals, and other contracts involving company, personal or sensitive data.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a trusted legal advisor to teams across the company to develop practical, risk-adjusted solutions that support compliance and responsible business growth.
- Commercial & Strategic Transactions Support
- Commercial Contracting: Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, services agreements, research collaborations, and data-driven partnerships.
- Strategic Transactions & Partnerships: Support structuring of healthcare and data-driven initiatives to align legal risk with business objectives. Partner with operational and procurement stakeholders to facilitate efficient and compliant transactions.
- Business Enablement: Proactively support and advise emerging business lines and new initiatives to drive business growth while mitigating risk
- Perform other legal tasks and projects assigned by legal leadership.
The Expertise Required
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and U.S. health privacy laws, including experience advising on use and disclosure of PHI, research authorizations, and breach analysis.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and data protection provisions in commercial agreements.
- Experience drafting or supporting AI and automated decision-making risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, or related governance documentation for internal review or regulatory purposes.
- Working knowledge of GDPR and international data transfer mechanisms, including controller/processor analysis and cross-border data considerations.
- Ability to assess and clearly communicate legal risk in operational and commercial contexts.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.
- Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance compliance obligations and commercial objectives.
- Ability to work collaboratively across clinical, operational, procurement, and technology teams.
- Sound judgment in escalating enterprise-level or reputational risk.

- CIPP or other similar certifications preferred.
