Position Overview
The Assistant Principal of Student Services is dedicated to the premise that every student enrolled in a school of the Brilla Schools Network has inestimable dignity and worth and that the life-long path should be open to all. The Assistant Principal of Student Services is responsible for directing and facilitating the campus-based support of diverse learners by ensuring that compliance mandates are met for students receiving specialized services and that effective Tier 2 and Tier 3 instructional practices are executed with quality in all classrooms. The Assistant Principal of Student Services manages and develops the school-based Student Services Team, composed of grade-level Learning Specialists, school Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, and related service providers. The Assistant Principal of Student Services reports to the campus Principal and receives coaching and development from the Elementary Director of Student Services. Reporting to the School Principal and network Director of Student Services, The Assistant Principal of Student Services is directly responsible for implementing Brilla’s Multi-tiered Student Supports framework, ensuring all federal and state compliance regulations are met, creating related service providers’ schedules and communicating regularly with outside agencies, managing direct communication with the Committee for Special Education, and analyzing school-based and student-based data for interventions. With the Instructional Leadership team, the Assistant Principal of Student Services is responsible for the implementation of Brilla’s Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. The Assistant Principal of Student Services is a strategic thinker and team leader, works diligently and proactively to problem-solve collaboratively, and inspires and coaches a team of staff to be high-quality practitioners.

Position Overview
Brilla Schools seeks a mission-driven, results-oriented leader to serve as Managing Director of Enrollment for the Brilla Schools Network in the Bronx. The Managing Director of Enrollment will own and execute the network-wide recruitment, enrollment and retention strategy across elementary and middle school portfolios, ensuring Brilla meets ambitious growth, retention, and compliance goals while delivering an exceptional, family-centered enrollment experience.

Position Overview
The Social Worker provides direct counseling services to students according to what is mandated on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Supervised by the Assistant Principal of Student Services, the Social Worker demonstrates high expectations for the achievement and conduct of all students, fostering a safe, joyful, and nurturing learning environment in which students thrive. The Social Worker is responsible for working with students, families, and teachers to provide a social, emotional, holistic approach relating to student achievement and health. The Social Worker collaborates with teachers across all grades to share strategies and to ensure interventions for students on their caseloads are in place at a classroom level. Additionally, the Social Worker implements Tier II at-risk group counseling, as well as Tier III at-risk individual counseling. The Social Worker assists families by connecting them with outside resources when support beyond the school is warranted.

Position Overview
Supervised by the Assistant Principal of Student Services, the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides services for students with speech, language, and hearing impairments, helping students to adjust and access the general education curriculum. The SLP collaborates with teachers to support high impact language intervention and evaluations. Successful NSLPs consistently help students achieve - collecting, analyzing, and implementing data-based strategies regularly for both the students on their caseload and also students that have been identified as needing additional support. The SLP is in current possession of ASHA Certification and New York State license for Speech-Language Pathology. This position requires a positive, flexible, solutions-oriented, organized, and innovative specialist.

Position Overview
Supervised by the Assistant Principal of Student Services, the Learning Specialist plays a unique role as a collaborator with teachers on various teams, as a family liaison, and as a small group and individual instructor of students with varying learning needs. Learning Specialists support every child in the grades they serve and foster deep connections with their colleagues and students. Successful Learning Specialists consistently help students achieve academically and socially: collecting, analyzing, and implementing data-based strategies for both the students on their caseload as well as students that have been identified as needing additional support. Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Middle School Assistant Principal (AP) of STEM is to bring Brilla Public Charter Schools’ mission to life by executing the Strategic Priorities set forth by the Principal. Supervised directly by the principal, the AP of STEM ensures continuity of instructional practice and fidelity to the curriculum by providing coaching and support in adaptation to meet the needs of a particular cohort. The AP assists the principal in the planning and execution of key academic and cultural initiatives and programming, with a focus on STEM. The AP supervises the school-wide approach to Tier 2 and Tier 3 behaviors in collaboration with the leadership and Student Services team, ensuring that systems and procedures are being followed to best meet the needs of all students.
Additionally, the AP directly supervises a caseload of teachers. Together, the MS AP of STEM and other members of the campus Instructional Leadership Team collaborate to support teachers by reviewing assessment data, identifying instructional strategies to meet Tier 1, 2, & 3 instructional and behavioral needs, guide collaboration among grade-level and content team members, observe classrooms and provide live coaching feedback, and reinforce standards and expectations for instructional excellence.
The AP is a highly motivated collaborator who goes above and beyond prescribed duties in support of the principal, teachers, and their students, while also taking initiative to solve problems and address challenges. Position Overview
Supervised by the Assistant Principal of Student Services at the network, the Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) provides services for students with speech, language, and hearing impairments, helping students to adjust and access the general education curriculum. The SLP collaborates with teachers to support high impact language intervention and evaluations. Successful NSLPs consistently help students achieve - collecting, analyzing, and implementing data-based strategies regularly for both the students on their caseload and also students that have been identified as needing additional support. The SLP is in current possession of ASHA Certification and New York State license for Speech-Language Pathology. This position requires a positive, flexible, solutions-oriented, organized, and innovative specialist.
