Compensation: Up to $30.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors
Position Purpose
This Bursar position is essential for overseeing the management and allocation of federal funds, alternative funding options, and third-party billing and payments. The Financial Aid Specialist ensures the timely processing and return of Title IV refunds while verifying that all students meet their tuition obligations efficiently.
Key Duties
- Administer the disbursement of federal funds and alternative funding options, ensuring compliance with regulations and institutional policies.
- Oversee third-party billing processes and payments, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Manage the timely processing and return of Title IV refunds, while monitoring student accounts to confirm that tuition obligations are met promptly.
This position is responsible for aligning financial operations with organizational goals to ensure efficient billing and payment processes, thereby enhancing the institution's overall fiscal health and supporting its growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform and track all third-party billing, including WIA, TA, and Vocational Rehabilitation, ensuring accurate and timely processing of student accounts.
- Manage and document the closeout process for student accounts related to drops and graduates, preparing reports for accrediting agencies and ensuring compliance with US Department of Education regulations.
- Regularly review student accounts and ledgers to ensure sufficient funding for tuition and related charges, monitoring Title IV credit balances and identifying appropriate refund or repayment options.
- Meet with students to discuss payment schedules, establish arrangements, and track all cash payments to maintain accurate records.
- In coordination with the Financial Aid Department, process and record student refunds within 30 days of the drop date, ensuring all exit paperwork is completed, including the Bursar Exit Letter and Refund Exit Form.
- Document all relevant transactions and communications in CampusNexus, including ESI notes, alternative loan applications, and TA forms, to maintain comprehensive student records.
- Prepare and submit weekly deposits and monthly submissions of authorized accounts payable to accounting for processing.
- Receive and upload signed Student Portal Agreements and maintain inventory supplies for the office as authorized by the Supervisor.
- Attend monthly Census Meetings and Bursar training sessions and engage in ongoing professional development through conferences and seminars.
- Participate in the onboarding and mentoring of new employees, fostering a positive work culture that supports institutional goals and enhances student experiences.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, or equitable on-the-job experience.
- Minimum two (2) years financial or accounting experience, preferably in an academic environment.
- Strong math and accounting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, discretion, strong work ethic, and professionalism
- Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Must be able to work independently and as collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability and wiliness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally or overnight occasionally for business

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or relevant field

- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role
The Director of Student Success is critical to ensuring our students are supported, engaged, and successful from enrollment through graduation and into meaningful employment.
In this role, you will lead across student services and career services, aligning teams, systems, and strategies to drive measurable outcomes in retention, certification, graduation, and job placement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Full Student Lifecycle
- Design and lead campus-wide retention and persistence strategies
- Partner closely with academic leadership to identify at-risk students and implement timely interventions
- Ensure students stay on track to meet academic, FAA certification, and graduation milestones
Drive Certification and Graduation Success
- Oversee processes tied to FAA certification readiness, testing milestones, as well as accurate scheduling, follow-up, and reporting of FAA written exams and related requirements
- Lead graduation preparation activities, including exit interviews, completion reviews, and transition planning
Oversee Career Readiness and Graduate Placement
- Lead strategies focused on job readiness, professionalism, and placement outcomes, including ensuring that students and graduates receive high-quality coaching
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and industry partners
Lead, Develop, and Inspire Teams
- Directly supervise student services and career services staff.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Promote a unified culture that emphasizes proactive support and measurable outcomes.
- Support onboarding and training of new staff.
Use Data to Drive Decisions
- Monitor retention, certification, graduation, and placement data on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Location: Aviation Institute of Maintenance, 400 East Airport Freeway, Irving TX 75062
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- One late day: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- All schedules include one Saturday a month: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Compensation: Up to $31 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven, student-focused Admissions Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and skilled at guiding prospective students toward informed, life-changing academic decisions.
As an Admissions Representative, you will connect students with programs that support their goals while consistently meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion, application completion, and enrollment success. This dynamic role requires communication skills, a positive attitude, and delivery of exceptional service in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and in-person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process
- Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance
- Guide students from initial inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow-up
- Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation
- Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs
Qualifications
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates' or higher degree preferred
- Experience:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios
- One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred
- Skill set:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, willing to learn new systems
- A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
