About the Role
We are seeking a Career Success Coordinator to join our Student Success team, focused on driving certification completion and job placement outcomes for our students.
This is not a passive advising role. You will serve as an advocate for your students working aggressively and proactively from day one through graduation and into employment. Success in this role is defined by your ability to remove barriers, prepare students for the workforce, and ultimately help them secure employment.
You’ll manage a caseload of students, engage them consistently, and partner cross-functionally with academics, admissions, and employer partners all while operating in a metrics-driven, performance-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
Act as a primary point of contact and advocate for students from onboarding through placement
Proactively engage students to identify and overcome barriers to certification and employment
Drive certification readiness through consistent follow-up, milestone tracking, and collaboration with academic teams
Prepare students for the workforce through resume development, interview coaching, and job search support
Actively source and identify employment opportunities for students (hunter mentality required)
Support students with job applications, employer connections, and placement follow-up
Maintain detailed documentation of student interactions, outcomes, and progress in internal systems
Partner with employer engagement and career services teams to align students with job opportunities
Support workshops, career events, and placement-focused initiatives
Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless student experience

What We’re Looking For
Required:
1–2+ years of experience in student services, career services, advising, recruiting, workforce development, or similar
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and hold students accountable
Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, and compliance-focused environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Preferred:
Experience with CampusNexus or similar student management systems
Background in career placement, recruiting, or employment services
Experience working toward performance metrics tied to outcomes
