What You Will Do

• As Civil Project Manager, you’ll be the person making sure the project doesn’t drift, stall, bleed money, or lose the standard.
• You will lead the project from start to finish, managing cost, schedule, quality, safety, documentation, and communication. You’ll oversee project performance and profit/loss, making sure the work is executed with discipline and completed successfully.
• You’ll generate, review, and approve estimates, subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, and related project documents. You’ll monitor budgets closely, forecast accurately, and take action early when cost or scope starts to move.
• You’ll build, review, and maintain project schedules, keeping milestones visible and teams aligned. When weather, site conditions, material delays, or field realities challenge the plan, you’ll adjust with urgency and clarity.
• You’ll monitor field progress and verify that work is performed in compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, quality standards, legal requirements, and Alpha expectations.
• You’ll collaborate daily with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to keep resources aligned and issues moving toward resolution.
• You’ll communicate project status, risks, changes, and solutions before people have to chase you for answers.
• You’ll identify risks early, solve problems fast, negotiate change orders when needed, and protect both the client relationship and Alpha’s margin.
• You’ll maintain clean, accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budget updates, forecasts, approvals, and closeout materials.
• You’ll address jobsite disputes, coordination breakdowns, and operational challenges directly — with professionalism, urgency, and the kind of leadership that keeps people moving forward.
• And you’ll help lead and mentor project team members, holding yourself and others accountable to the standard.

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in civil construction or project management, preferably with a focus on heavy civil projects.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities without letting details fall through the cracks.

Education

• Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent hands-on construction/project management experience may be considered.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and construction management/accounting software preferred.

What You’ll Do

As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Alpha, you’ll be trusted to run major iron on meaningful projects across Oʻahu.

What You’ll Do

As a Heavy Civil Laborer at Alpha Inc., you will support civil construction and underground utility operations under the direction of a Foreman. Depending on experience and capability, responsibilities may include:

• Loading, unloading, transporting, and staging materials, tools, and equipment
• Digging trenches, leveling ground, and assisting with excavation and backfill
• Supporting installation of stormwater, sewer, and water utilities
• Cleaning and maintaining jobsites and equipment to eliminate hazards

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform work involving bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in trenches
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety and following direction
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
• Clear communication skills and respect for the chain of command
• A valid Driver’s License and clean driving record are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves – Laborer III Capabilities)

The following experience is not required, but will be viewed as a strong differentiator and may support placement at a higher pay rate:

• Three or more years of civil construction experience with a focus on underground utilities
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and layouts
• Experience installing PVC, HDPE, and ductile iron pipe
• Proficiency with pipe lasers, trench boxes, saws, and specialized utility tools
• Experience performing hydrostatic or air pressure testing
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior laborers and lead by example on site
• OSHA 10 or other relevant safety certifications

What You’ll Do

You are the difference between “good enough” and “dead-on.”

You’ll take plans and turn them into reality — clean, square, level, and built to spec the first time.

• Execute precise layout for foundations, walls, and structural systems
• Use levels, string lines, lasers, and transits like second nature
• Ensure everything is square, plumb, and dialed — no exceptions
• Catch mistakes early and fix them before they cost time or money
• Read and interpret rebar, foundation, and structural plans with confidence
• Set and maintain batter boards and layout reference points
• Calculate and transfer elevations accurately across the jobsite
• Support forming, framing, bracing, and stripping for concrete work
• Stage materials efficiently — waste is not part of the plan
• Work side-by-side with crews across trades to hit deadlines and deliver quality
• Maintain tools, uphold safety standards, and keep the site tight

This role demands accuracy, awareness, and accountability — every single day.

What You Bring

You’re not entry-level. You’ve been in the field, you know the pace, and you understand what’s at stake when things aren’t done right.

Experience & Skillset:

• Hands-on carpentry experience in concrete, foundations, framing, or related work
• Strong layout ability with real-world jobsite application
• Solid understanding of measurements, elevations, and construction math
• Ability to read and execute from plans and technical drawings
• Familiarity with rebar placement, spacing, and structural coordination
• Confidence using layout tools (laser levels, transits, etc.)
• Physically capable of handling demanding field conditions
