The Risk & Analytics team makes crucial decisions that direct Affirm’s business strategy. Our team designs and runs experiments to decide which product features to launch and which marketing campaigns to fund. We analyze performance not just to report on it, but to determine where to invest resources for maximum impact through building tools and analytical frameworks. We take ownership of the entire analytical lifecycle, from initial question to final business decision, ensuring Affirm grows efficiently and intelligently.
The Credit team works cross-functionally with Machine Learning, Fraud, Product, Engineering, Capital Markets, and Commercial teams to responsibly manage the risk profile of the business. We’re looking for an intelligent, driven individual who wants to learn, grow, and solve hard problems.
The team’s mandate is to enable sustainable growth while closely managing the profitability and resilience of our portfolio. As Affirm continues on an exciting growth trajectory, designing credit strategies for new initiatives and products, partnering with the Machine Learning team to continuously enhance our underwriting framework, and being ready to navigate through any exogenous changes will be important problems to tackle.
This role requires a lot of cross-functional partnership, with extensive use of data analytics to derive insights and develop credit strategies. Come join us in our mission to change consumer finance through better data and technology, lower costs, and increased transparency while providing the best customer experience!

We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager, Card Acquisition (New Channels) to launch and scale new acquisition channels for the Affirm Card. In this role, you’ll identify high-impact growth opportunities, validate them through rapid experimentation, and bring them to market at scale. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of consumers first discover and adopt the Affirm Card, with direct ownership over measurable acquisition and activation outcomes. Define and own the Card Acquisition roadmap for new growth channels, setting clear hypotheses, success metrics, and sequencing.
Launch and scale new acquisition surfaces, partnering closely with Engineering and Design to deliver seamless, high-conversion onboarding experiences.
Design and execute acquisition programs (e.g., referrals, exploratory partner pilots) with measurable CAC→LTV impact.

Affirm is building a centralized, scalable Employee Experience (EX) Hub to deliver consistent, high-quality support to employees globally. This role sits at the intersection of People Operations, employee experience, and AI enablement—defining how the People Team delivers support end-to-end. You’ll establish the knowledge foundation that powers this transformation, enabling self-service, AI-assisted support, and scalable service delivery across the organization.
This is a builder role for someone who can operate at both a strategic and executional level. You should be comfortable using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate the creation of systems and processes, while also willing to do the hands-on work required to make them real. This is not a pure thought leadership role—success will require both setting direction and directly driving outcomes. In the first year, the primary focus will be on consolidating and standardizing fragmented documentation as a foundation for future system and governance design. You will partner closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and subject matter experts (SMEs) across People and adjacent teams to gather dispersed content, eliminate duplication, implement consistent formatting standards, and validate accuracy. This work will establish a centralized, AI-ready knowledge ecosystem. Building on that foundation, you will design the systems, processes, and governance needed to translate consolidated knowledge into consistent, compliant, and high-quality employee support experiences. You will also shape how knowledge, tooling, and workflows integrate to enable a more modern and efficient People Ops function, ensuring employees receive the right information, at the right time, through the right channels.
What You'll Do:
Build and own a centralized People knowledge ecosystem, including taxonomy, governance, and lifecycle management
Establish AI-ready knowledge structures that enable automation, support accurate and compliant AI-assisted experiences, and define the future-state integration between knowledge, case management, and AI support systems.
Design how knowledge, intake and support workflows work together to improve self-service and reduce manual case volume
Partner on service model evolution, including triage, escalation, and knowledge-driven support design
Evaluate and implement tools for knowledge management, search, and AI-enabled delivery to automate People inquiries and improve overall service delivery.
Establish clear governance, guardrails, and risk mitigation frameworks for the use of AI within a regulated HR environment to manage both operational and regulatory risk.
Establish measurement frameworks and use insights to continuously improve knowledge quality and support outcomes
Lead cross-functional programs from planning through execution, driving alignment, delivery, and scalable implementation of systems and workflows
Ensure readiness for new programs, policies, and regulatory changes through scalable enablement
What We Look For:
Experience building or transforming knowledge management systems, service models, or shared services functions (0→1 or significant scale-up)
Strong understanding of end-user experience in any domain required, with specific experience in People Operations, employee experience, or HR service delivery a plus
Proven experience in AI-native workflows; specifically using AI to write scripts, structure complex data, and automate manual operations. You should be comfortable using agentic AI tools to bridge the gap between conceptual design and technical implementation.
Ability to operate strategically and execute operationally in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority
Strong judgment in balancing innovation with risk, compliance, and employee impact

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
Our Client Platform Engineering (CPE) team owns Affirm's endpoint platform end-to-end: from zero-touch provisioning and MDM architecture to patch management, automation pipelines, and compliance posture. We're the team that makes it possible for an Affirmer anywhere in the world to open a laptop on day one and get straight to work.
We're looking for a hands-on technical manager to lead the Client Platform Engineering team. This is an engineering-forward leadership role — you'll set the technical direction, establish the program operating model, and actively develop a team of three engineers (one L5, two L6) who are talented but need a clear owner to drive prioritization, consistency of delivery, and a repeatable way of working.
You'll report directly to the Director of IT Engineering and be the first dedicated people leader this team has had in some time. That means you'll be building the program scaffolding largely from scratch: defining how work gets planned and tracked, establishing KPIs that give leadership and partner teams real visibility into health and progress, and creating the operating rhythm that lets your engineers do their best work. You'll also be a credible technical voice in cross-functional conversations with Security, Identity, Developer Productivity, and IT Support — able to engage substantively on architecture, tool choices, and tradeoffs without needing to run everything back to your team.
Team Leadership & Coaching
Lead, coach, and develop a team of three engineers — setting clear expectations, providing regular candid feedback, and building individual growth plans tailored to each engineer's strengths, gaps, and career goals.
Establish and maintain healthy team operating rhythms: sprint cadence, backlog grooming, incident retrospectives, and async-first communication practices that work across time zones.
Build a culture of ownership, craft, and continuous improvement — where reducing toil and improving reliability is celebrated, not just expected.
Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and a knowledge resource for the broader IT Engineering organization.
Program Management & Delivery
Define and maintain the CPE roadmap in alignment with IT Engineering strategy, company-wide security priorities, and Affirm's FY roadmap cycles.
Establish a prioritization framework that balances project work, platform health (KTLO), compliance obligations, and stakeholder requests — with enough transparency that tradeoffs are visible and defensible.
Build and own the KPIs and reporting that give you, your team, and leadership real visibility into endpoint compliance posture, patch currency, deployment reliability, and incident trends.
Implement structured change control processes: communication, testing gates, rollback plans, and post-deployment review for platform changes that affect a global workforce.
Technical Direction & Platform Ownership
Guide the architecture and long-term strategy for Affirm's endpoint platform — macOS-first, with Windows and mobile in scope — including MDM configuration, zero-touch provisioning, and the automation pipelines that keep the fleet healthy at scale.
Drive key technical initiatives including permission automation, third-party patching, silent update delivery, and device lifecycle improvements.
Champion infrastructure-as-code and automation-first engineering practices across the team — reducing manual toil and creating durable, repeatable processes.
Evaluate new tooling and approaches, run POCs, and make clear adoption recommendations grounded in security, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Build strong working relationships with Security, Identity/IAM, Developer Productivity, and IT Support — acting as a reliable partner and technical peer, not just a fulfillment queue.
Partner with Security to onboard and maintain endpoint security agents (EDR, AV, disk encryption) and enforce least-privilege policies at scale.
Represent CPE in cross-functional planning conversations, bringing clear data and grounded recommendations to tradeoff discussions.
Work closely with Developer Productivity to understand and support the unique endpoint needs of Affirm's engineering population.
5+ years of hands-on experience in endpoint engineering, client platform, or corporate IT engineering at scale — with a strong understanding of macOS device management (Jamf), MDM architecture, and endpoint security practices.
Exposure to compliance frameworks relevant to endpoint security (SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks, or similar).
2+ years of people management or formal technical leadership experience, including setting direction, running 1:1s, and developing individual engineers.
Demonstrated ability to build and run a program from scratch — establishing operating cadences, KPI frameworks, and prioritization processes where none previously existed.
Scripting and automation proficiency in Bash and at least one additional language (Python strongly preferred); comfort integrating with RESTful APIs (MDM, Okta, Google Workspace, etc.).
Strong cross-functional instincts — able to navigate competing priorities, build trust with partner teams, and communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
A track record of shipping improvements reliably and iteratively, with attention to rollback safety, communication, and compliance documentation.
Familiarity with package and software distribution pipelines (AutoPkg, Munki, or equivalent).
Prior experience in a fintech, high-growth, or regulated environment where security and compliance requirements are first-class concerns.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tooling (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent) in an IT or corporate engineering context.
Jamf Pro experience at an enterprise level (Jamf 300 or equivalent depth preferred).
Experience with Windows endpoint management (Intune, SCCM, or equivalent).

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
Our team sits within Developer Productivity, whose mission is to make software development at Affirm simpler and faster across the company. The broader org owns much of the path between a developer’s laptop and production, including developer environments, test automation, code standards, CI/CD, and release engineering, all in service of helping engineers ship code quickly, safely, and with confidence. The Continuous Delivery team’s charter is centered on enabling engineering teams to release independently through strong automation, standard patterns, predictable rollouts, resilient recovery mechanisms, and less manual toil.
This role is uniquely positioned to help solve one of Affirm’s most important engineering challenges: scaling developer productivity in an era where the software development lifecycle is increasingly AI-enhanced. The team builds and improves the platforms, workflows, and guardrails that help engineers move from idea to production faster, with better safety, consistency, and developer experience. We value engineers who listen closely, invite feedback, and work well across organizational boundaries, while also holding a high bar for ownership, technical judgment, and follow-through. Strong candidates will care about building reliable shared systems, reducing friction for other engineers, and making durable improvements that raise the quality and speed of software delivery across Affirm.
What You'll Do
· You will be responsible for owning and delivering quarterly goals for your team, leading engineers on your team through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems, and ensuring that everyone is supported throughout delivery.
· You will support your peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design & analytics by participating in ideation, articulating technical constraints, and partnering on decisions that properly consider risks and trade-offs.
· You will proactively identify project, process, technology or business issues, advocate for them, and lead in solving them.
· You will support the operations and availability of your team’s artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and supporting “keep the lights on” & on-call efforts.
· You will foster a culture of quality and ownership on your team by setting or improving code review and design standards for your team, and advocating for them beyond your team through your writing and tech talks.
· You will help develop talent on your team by providing feedback and guidance, and leading by example.
What We Look For
· You have 4+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
· You have a track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
· You have experience building or evolving CI/CD, deployment, or release automation systems that reduce manual toil and improve rollout predictability, recovery, and auditability across many engineering teams.
· You are comfortable working on shared developer infrastructure and defining clear platform interfaces, templates, or guardrails that make it easier for product teams to adopt standard deployment patterns with confidence.
· You have experience defining a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple and extensible design. You write high quality code that is easily understood and used by others.
· You are proficient at making significant changes in a large code base, and have developed a suite of tools and practices that enable you and your team to do so safely.
· Your experience demonstrates that you take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking feedback from your team, your manager, and your stakeholders.
· You have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team.
