Job Overview

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing data entry and incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Essential Functions

• Receives incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Prepares outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling items.
• Ensures proper packaging and documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinates with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and track shipments using designated software.
• Operates a forklift to load and unload trucks, as well as move materials within the warehouse.
• Adheres to safety protocols and regulations while operating forklift and handling materials.
• Accurately inputs and maintains data into computer systems and databases.
• Verifies and updates information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Organizes and manages electronic files and documents.
• Assists with data analysis and report generation as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Proficient computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software.
• Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including knowledge of shipping documentation.
• Familiarity with private sector Enterprise Requirements Planning systems.
• Ability to pass an annual DMV record check required to ensure compliance with company and regulatory driving standards.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues, vendors, and carriers.

Education / Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
• Valid forklift operator certification

Experience

• 2-4 years of Shipping and Receiving experience.

Job Overview

AEVEX Aerospace is looking for a detail oriented Inventory Control Specialist with experience tracking and maintaining physical inventory, identifying discrepancies or losses, and managing the flow of parts and equipment to and from the shop floor.

Essential Functions

• Ensure all material is properly received within the ERP system on a daily basis.
• Ensure all material is put away within the ERP system on a daily basis.
• Ensure all material is properly issued within the ERP system on a daily basis.
• Review and close open receipts, put aways, or issues on the associated ERP report.
• Physically put away assets to their assigned bin location and issue items to the production floor.
• Execute daily cycle counts per the published cycle count program
• Report inventory discrepancies and inventory levels to the Inventory Control Manager
• Participate in annual, bi-annual, or as required physical inventory audits
• Conduct frequent inventory stock checks and other stockroom duties
• Perform shipping and receiving related duties including loading and unloading trucks as needed
• Follow safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure all work is done efficiently and adheres to aviation safety regulations and industry best practices
• Maintain a clean work environment in full compliance with company standards and customer and government regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Overview

AEVEX Aerospace is looking for a warehouse material handler that specializes in crating of finished product. This individual will be responsible for custom shipping crates, crate kits, and general palletizing of oversized equipment using established processes and procedures. This individual will be tasked with being accurate and making sure all crates and pallets that leave our facility will arrive in the same condition as when they left our facility.

Essential Functions

• Perform routine packing of various aviation equipment shipping domestic and international
• Apply appropriate shipping documentation and labels to outbound shipments
• Follow packaging procedures to ensure the safety of all shipments; includes polishing and cleaning all units, measuring boxes, weighing, cubing, and banding
• Measuring and cutting of wood and assembly of the entire crate used for packing nonstandard/over-sized items
• Packs orders for domestic and international shipment as required for the transportation mode per company guidelines. Builds appropriate boxing/crating when and as required.
• Stocks materials or items on assigned racks, shelves, or in bins pending verification of stocking documentation. Reports inventory variances relative to stocking transactions.
• Unpacks, checks quantity and condition of incoming parts and materials.
• Maintain material inventory including lumber, fasteners, and other material used in the shipping process
• Check products for defects and accuracy, report and replace any defective item before packing
• Follow shipment receiving procedures ensuring the right items have been delivered and Receiving Clerks notified
• Ensure that serial and batch numbers match the product and Sales Order
• Coordinate yard space for inbound/outbound shipments and position units in proper storage areas
• Operate forklift to transport shipments from the storage area to the crating area

Standard Essential Functions

• Basic carpentry skills and experience using hand and power tools as necessary
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Possess a valid in-state driver's license and possess an acceptable safe driving record
• Be able to operate a forklift and complete our internal forklift training program
• Current forklift certification required.

Education / Certifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience

• Two years’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
