Job Description
The Mission Analyst will serve as the critical liaison between the Client Platform and the federal stakeholder community, ensuring the platform's capabilities are directly aligned with operational needs and mission priorities. The analyst will act as a domain expert and advocate for mission user needs, translating complex operational requirements, tactics, and strategic objectives into actionable insights for the technical and customer success teams. This role will collaborate with data engineers and solution architects to contextualize data, ensuring that analytics, dashboards, and data products are directly relevant to mission outcomes. The analyst will work with the Customer Success team to validate that solutions developed on the client platform are operationally effective and meet the intended mission needs. They will analyze mission-area problems and processes to identify opportunities where the platform can provide value, improve efficiency, or enable new capabilities. The analyst will maintain a deep understanding of the stakeholder's operational environment, challenges, and decision-making processes as well as review technical solutions and training materials for mission relevance and clarity, providing feedback to ensure they resonate with the end-user community. This role will stay current with evolving mission sets, operational priorities, and stakeholder challenges to proactively guide the client program's development efforts.
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of additional experience)
- 8 years of experience conducting mission/operational analysis and providing technical insights for IT/system solutions (ideally in a defense or intelligence context)

The Use Case Solutioning Lead oversees the Solution Consultant team during the use case intake process to understand requirements, design solution blueprints, and ensure the proposed approach effectively leverages the existing services and capabilities. Design the high-level integration patterns, data flows, and service compositions required to solve a specific mission problem, providing the detailed architectural guidance necessary for development teams to begin implementation.

You Are:
Lead AFS’s cloud and AI strategic advisory delivery for Federal Cyber client program/project, serving as Deputy Program Manager for the engagement. S/He will direct senior SMEs, translate their insights into actionable plans, and ensure AFS delivers high‑value strategic advisory— not staff augmentation. They will also maintain and grow program funding by demonstrating measurable impact and building strong, trusted client relationships.
The Work:
Strategic Advisory Delivery
- Direct three cloud and AI SMEs across three client initiatives, ensuring each SME is leveraged strategically rather than tactically.
- Translate SME insights and recommendations into clear, operational action plans for client execution.
- Push client initiatives beyond planning paralysis, enabling bold decision making and movement toward implementation.
- Shape engagement scope to maintain an advisory posture and prevent scope drift toward staff augmentation.
Program Management (Deputy PM)
- Serve as Deputy Program Manager with responsibility for day‑to‑day administration, reporting, and operational cadence.
- Manage a team of four FTEs (three SMEs plus one additional team member), including task direction, performance feedback, and delivery quality.
- Maintain CDRLs, status reporting, financial tracking, and contract compliance in coordination with the Program Manager.
Client Relationship & Growth
- Act as a senior day‑to‑day client interface, building trust with GS‑14/15 initiative owners.
- Maintain program funding by demonstrating clear, measurable client impact.
- Identify and shape follow‑on and expansion opportunities through SME engagement; partner with capture and account leadership to pursue them.

Role Overview
You’ll lead (or contribute to) enterprise AI & data strategy for confidential federal programs shaping architecture, governance, and responsible AI so modern AI capabilities can be operated safely, audited confidently, and adopted at scale. This is a strategy + build + operate role: you’ll partner with CXOs, CDO/CIO/CISO offices, legal/compliance, security, and product teams to define standards, implement controls, and accelerate mission outcomes. Not a model‑training role. Your focus is production strategy, governance, and architecture making the best models and platforms usable, safe, and effective in real operations.
What You’ll Do
- Translate mission goals into portfolio roadmaps, target architectures, and adoption plans; pick the right patterns (LLM, RAG, agents, analytics) for each use case.
- Define reference architectures (cloud/hybrid/on‑prem), data access patterns, metadata/lineage, and integration points that respect Zero Trust and privacy constraints.
- Operationalize policy‑as‑code, approval workflows, audit trails, red‑team & safety checks, and model/data lifecycle controls aligned to federal standards.
- Stand up evaluation harnesses (quality, safety, latency, cost), model selection criteria, and guardrails (prompt management, filtering, attribution/citations).
- Author playbooks, templates, SDKs, and governance blueprints that scale across multiple mission teams driving consistency and speed.
- Partner with product, security/compliance, data, and engineering to deliver outcomes; facilitate decision forums and executive storytelling with measurable KPIs.
- Ensure programs meet SLOs (reliability, latency, safety, cost), pass audits, and ship in weeks not quarters with progressive delivery in regulated environments.
- Contribute to proposals, briefings, and internal capability building; mentor teams on responsible AI and governed data practices.
Requirements
- Experience developing AI or data strategy or platform governance within government or multi stakeholder environments.
- Strong understanding of federal policies related to data, AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and digital modernization.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture concepts and AI governance frameworks.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record turning strategy into operational systems with measurable outcomes.
- Experience assessing AI readiness, risks, and ethical considerations.
- Must be a US Citizen
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated/secure environments (audit‑ready controls, ATO like processes, Zero Trust concepts).
- Exposure to LLM evaluation frameworks, RAG/agent patterns, prompt lifecycle management, and policy‑based filtering.
- Familiarity with leading platforms/services like Azure/AWS/GCP, Databricks/Snowflake/Palantir, vector search, catalog/lineage tooling.
- Contributions to playbooks/standards or open‑source; executive‑level storytelling and proposal leadership.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
