Job Description
The Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist will identify and assess supply chain risks, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure risk management compliance. The specialist will conduct thorough risk assessments, audits, and evaluations of suppliers' security practices, and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks. This role will develop and maintain risk management documentation and reports and will also be responsible for addressing supply chain security concerns. This person will perform various types of supply chain risk assessments, including vendor assessments, product security evaluations, and supply chain mapping. They will assist in the development and implementation of supply chain security controls and will collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure security requirements are included in supplier contracts. They will monitor and analyze supply chain threats and vulnerabilities, contribute to the organization's threat intelligence efforts, and support incident response activities related to supply chain security events. This role will participate in supplier security awareness programs and help develop training materials for internal stakeholders. They will contribute to the development of supply chain risk metrics and key performance indicators.
