About the Position
At 6sense, the Post-Sales Solutions Architect is a critical partner to our Strategic and Enterprise Customer Success Management teams, focused exclusively on supporting existing customers throughout their journey with us. This role blends deep technical acumen with strong customer engagement skills to lead architecture design, optimize platform adoption, and ensure our customers realize the full value of their investment.
You'll work directly with our largest and most complex accounts, helping them integrate and scale their use of 6sense by designing innovative solutions, advising on best practices, and serving as a trusted technical advisor post-sale. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role designed to drive retention, value delivery, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Strategic and Enterprise CSMs to lead post-sale technical activities, including product enablement, demos, proof-of-value workshops, and advanced use case development.
- Facilitate architecture design sessions and platform integration planning, aligning customer objectives to 6sense solutions.
- Document business and technical requirements, and clearly communicate the business value of 6sense capabilities to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Serve as a technical liaison between Customer Success, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Lead solution design for multi-product implementations, systems integrations, and data architecture within existing customer environments.
- Proactively identify technical optimization opportunities to improve customer outcomes and platform ROI.
- Contribute feedback to product management and engineering teams, and help evolve internal tooling and processes for customer delivery.
- Build reports and dashboards that help customers track progress, optimize performance, and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Pre/Post-Sales Engineer.
- Deep technical expertise in solution architecture, data integration, and enterprise software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and articulate complex solutions to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Hubspot) and Customer Data Platforms (Adobe Experience Platform, Segment, etc.).
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, DataStage, Netezza) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), REST/SOAP APIs, and integration platforms (MuleSoft, Zapier, Dell Boomi).
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
Nice to Haves
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
- A track record of influencing customer outcomes through consultative engagement.
- Experience supporting SaaS adoption, expansion, or renewal in large-scale enterprise accounts.
- Ability to prioritize and execute across multiple customer projects while managing stakeholder expectations.
Base Salary Range: $139,035.00 - $180,918.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. Role Responsibilities
- Analyse, track and resolve customer issues in a prompt manner to ensure that the highest level of client satisfaction is achieved
- Analyse data using SQL / spreadsheets, and ad hoc analysis
- Identify alternate solutions when necessary and communicate them to customers
- Maintain a detailed understanding of product architecture, technical components and application functionality
- Assist in creating training materials pertaining to product troubleshooting and usage
- Set up and document troubleshooting procedures for new product features
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, fellow support team members and the other internal teams
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 5-6 years customer support experience for software applications
- 3+ years knowledge of and experience with SQL
- Experience with MAP and CRM-Salesforce
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
- Experience describing technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Ability to function and thrive in a team environment with an appreciation of aggressive goals
- Ability to work independently
- Effective prioritizations and multitasking
- Experience working with Google Analytics a plus
- Experience/knowledge of Salesforce integrations a plus
- Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus

- Driving adoption and strategic alignment: Partner with global enterprise customers to deeply understand their business goals and ensure 6sense is embedded in their workflows to deliver measurable ROI and business impact.
- Owning renewals and GRR metrics: Lead renewal strategy and execution, proactively identifying expansion opportunities and mitigating churn risk in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Operationalizing for scale: Apply scalable methodologies and tools to manage customer engagement efficiently across a growing portfolio.
- Building executive relationships: Establish trusted advisor status with senior stakeholders and decision-makers, aligning 6sense capabilities to their strategic priorities.
- Developing success plans and EBRs: Create and maintain mutual success plans and executive business reviews that clearly demonstrate value and progress toward customer goals.
- Driving product feedback and roadmap alignment: Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product development based on real-world use cases and feedback.

Onboarding and enablement: Partner with Services to ensure smooth onboarding, training, and rollout of new features.
- Creating customer advocates: Cultivate champions who will share their success stories and serve as references for 6sense.

Experience & Skills Required
- 5+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Consulting in SaaS or high-tech environments, with a focus on driving technical adoption and measuring strategic value.
- 3+ years managing enterprise accounts with a proven track record of exceeding renewal and growth targets.
- Experience aligning platform usage with business outcomes and advising senior stakeholders (including CxOs) on maximizing ROI.
- Strong understanding of B2B demand generation, marketing operations, and sales analytics.
- Proven success in negotiating renewals and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Experience operationalizing CS processes and leveraging internal resources to scale.
- Familiarity with marketing tech stack (e.g., Marketing Automation, CRM, BI tools).
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- BA/BS degree required.
- Willingness to travel (~25%).
Additional Skills Desired

The Role:

As a Principal Customer Success Manager at 6sense, you’ll be an instrumental player to our growth as we build upon the success we’ve had delivering predictions for Fortune 500 customers. The Responsibilities:

Principal Customer Success Managers at 6sense think critically about driving customer growth and building our organization. As a Principal Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for actively managing the happiness and renewal of a portfolio of assigned 6sense's largest customers. Responsibilities include:
- Managing a book of our largest, global strategic customers
- Working closely with global Enterprise customers to understand their business goals and objectives, and ensuring 6sense is being adopted into their teams’ daily workflow, generating positive ROI, and growing lifetime customer value for 6sense.
- Establishing strong relationships with decision-makers and key influencers within each account in your book of business.
- Developing, executing, and maintaining strategic account plans and QBRs to drive business value and ROI.
- Forecasting, identifying risk, and maintaining a strong customer renewal rate and growth rate in partnership with the Account Executive team
- Working closely with customer and internal teams to maintain visibility into product performance and customer feedback. You will clearly communicate and manage risk, proactively helping resolve issues promptly while minimizing customer churn.
- Becoming an expert on the 6sense predictive engine, including implementation, how use cases of 6sense connect to top business goals and requirements, and areas to expand use cases.
- Partnering with a 6sense technical CSM and Program Managers to manage customer onboarding, product rollout and training.
- Being an advocate for customers’ product feature priorities internally within 6sense and align with product team around driving product roadmap.
- Building customer advocates who will speak on behalf of 6sense as a reference and share success stories in 6sense events and content.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize, and scale while having fun.
Your Experience and Skills Required
- 10+ years of Customer Success, Account Management, or Consulting experience, ideally from a high tech or SaaS company, where you developed strategies on assigned accounts to fully leverage technology solutions.
- 3+ years experience in high-touch Strategic or Enterprise Customer Success with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Experience working with global 1000 Enterprise customers with multiple stakeholders and managing success programs as the key advisor to global as well as regional customer organizations.
- Experience advising customers including CxOs on how to best use and adopt SaaS platform for faster Return on Investment (ROI)
- Experience working closely with B2B demand gen, marketing operations, sales operations and analytics teams
- Experience negotiating renewals and identifying and driving upsell opportunities.
- Have led projects from conception to closure and have experience leveraging and influencing internal resources to get things done.
- Familiarity with the marketing tech stack: Marketing Automation, digital marketing technologies, data providers, B2B digital media. Experience using Marketing Automation, CRM or related applications is a plus
- Strong analytical and communications skills
- BA/BS degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to travel to customer site (~30%).
Additional Skills Desired
- 5+ years of experience using BI (Tableau, Domo, MicroStrategy), Marketing Automation (Marketo, Eloqua or Pardot) or CRM (Salesforce and Dynamics) platforms.
- 2+ years of domain expertise in one of the following industries: Communications, Media, High-Tech, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Insurance or Retail is preferred.
