As a QC Associate, you will be responsible for testing and inspection, as well as supporting automation of data workflows and analysis. Key Responsibilities

10x Genomics is looking for a Production Technician to join its consumable manufacturing team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for 10x consumables product – handling of automated equipment and manual packaging of finished goods. This individual will also work with the manufacturing engineering team on the maintenance and simple troubleshooting of some of the manufacturing equipment.  This position may require extended periods of sitting or standing and extensive work using laboratory and packaging equipment.

This will be a temp/contract position in the 10x manufacturing team. Individuals applying to this position should have a basic understanding of good manufacturing practices. About the Role:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the mechanical design of complex biotech consumables from concept through production. You will be a key technical contributor, problem solver, and mentor, working across disciplines to drive innovation and ensure system success. Your expertise in mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in delivering high-performance, scalable solutions that meet the stringent demands of biotech environments.

• Lead the mechanical design of complex biotech consumables from concept through production
• Focus on injection-molded (IM) plastics, over-molding, LSR, and advanced assembly techniques like ultrasonic welding and laser bonding

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Compliance Engineer to lead and support hardware and reagent compliance initiatives across global regulatory frameworks. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements, managing product certifications, and ensuring compliance with standards such as UL, CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH, and other international directives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory affairs—to ensure that all hardware and reagent products meet applicable compliance standards throughout their lifecycle. This position is critical to enabling successful product launches and sustaining market access across key global regions.

What you will be doing:

Hardware Product Compliance:

• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements including UL, CSA, FCC, CE, KCC, SRRC, PSE, CB.
• Submitting official certification through relevant compliance bodies such as FCC, CE, UL, TUV, KCC, MIC, SRRC, etc. and acting as a liaison between 10x Genomics and state, local, federal and international agencies to submit required forms and paperwork while maintaining date and files for future reference, particularly in the event of an audit by a regulatory agency.

The Director of Digital Marketing is at the center of 10x Genomics’ digital marketing engine, delivering measurable business impact and innovating across channels to ensure leadership in scientific markets. This position reports to the Vice President of Integrated Marketing Communications as is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of all digital marketing initiatives—including the website, SEO, SEM/paid media, email campaigns, webinars, and digital advertising. This strategic yet hands-on leader is accountable for driving measurable growth, exceptional digital engagement, and seamless user experiences that support product launches, demand generation, and brand building.

What you will be doing:

• Digital Channel Strategy & Management
• Develop and own the digital marketing strategy, aligning with campaign objectives and business goals.
• Oversee and optimize the 10x Genomics website—including content updates, landing pages, conversion paths, and ongoing user experience improvements—partnering with Creative and Content teams.
• Lead SEO strategy and execution, including technical SEO, content optimization, and performance tracking to maximize organic discovery and site rankings.
• Own SEM and paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, retargeting, and other platforms), from campaign design and budget allocation to continuous performance optimization.
• Email & Webinar Campaigns
• Design and execute integrated email marketing programs that nurture leads, promote launches, and deliver targeted content across the sales funnel.
• Develop audience segments, A/B test copy and creative, oversee template management, and report on email engagement and conversion metrics.
• Manage end-to-end webinar program logistics (topic selection, promotion, tech platform, speaker coordination, registration, analytics), ensuring seamless execution and measurable pipeline impact.
• Paid Media & Digital Campaigns
• Launch and manage digital advertising across search, social, and relevant digital channels to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion.
• Collaborate with Campaign, Content, and Creative leads to ensure digital campaigns are on message, on brand, and optimized for all funnel stages.
• Monitor channel and ad performance daily, making rapid adjustments to optimize cost per lead/acquisition and maximize campaign ROI.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Optimization
• Serve as the digital SME on integrated campaign teams; advise on digital best practices, channel selection, and performance forecasting.
• Work closely with Marketing Ops and Analytics to track results, build dashboards, and conduct performance reviews (site traffic, email/webinar engagement, MQL volume, digital ROI, etc.).
• Stay current on life science/technology marketing trends, new digital tools, MarTech advances, and changing platform policies.
• Compliance, Quality, and Innovation
• Ensure all web, email, and digital activities comply with relevant GDPR/privacy and regulatory guidelines.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, testing, and innovation—bringing new ideas, tools, and tactics to maintain digital leadership in the field.

Skills & Competencies

• Demonstrated mastery of digital marketing across: web/UX, SEO (on-page/technical), SEM/paid search, digital display, and paid social.
• Deep experience with email marketing platforms, audience segmentation, marketing automation, and webinar/event marketing technology.
• Track record managing and optimizing digital advertising budgets (> $500K/year preferred) with strong ROI and reporting results.
• Strong analytic mindset; skilled in Google Analytics, tag management, CRM, UTM tracking, and performance dashboarding.
• Working knowledge of web content management (CMS), HTML, basic CSS, and digital creative/production workflows.
• Expert project and vendor management; able to prioritize, delegate, and deliver multiple programs and campaigns.
• High attention to detail, solution-oriented, and data-driven.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills—comfortable interfacing with technical, creative, and business stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7 years in digital marketing roles spanning web, SEO/SEM, digital ads, email, webinars/events 
• 2 years of experience in a team or project leadership capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Life Sciences, or related field

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• B2B life sciences or technology strongly preferred
• Master’s degree a plus
• Experience delivering digital strategy and reporting in highly regulated, global, or complex product environments is a plus
• Local to the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate preferred

About the Role

10x Genomics is establishing its first CLIA/CAP-certified laboratory to bring cutting-edge single-cell and spatial genomic technologies into clinical practice. Reporting to the Head of Quality and Regulatory, the Quality Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in defining, developing and implementing the lab’s quality infrastructure, ensuring compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state (including California and New York) requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a quality professional who can independently execute quality assurance (QA) responsibilities during the lab’s early buildout phase and later lead a small QA team as clinical operations scale. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of clinical laboratory quality systems with practical, solution-oriented execution in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

What you will be Doing:

Clinical Quality Framework Establishment and Oversight

• Implement document control, deviation/CAPA systems, training programs, and internal audit processes compliant with CLIA, CAP, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate closely with CLIA and assay development teams to develop and manage SOPs and work instructions
• Partner with the broader Quality/Regulatory team to  integrate the CLIA lab’s quality infrastructure into 10x’s enterprise-wide quality management system (QMS).
• Establish and track key quality metrics for laboratory operations (e.g., deviations, nonconformances, complaint handling, audit findings, proficiency testing).
• In partnership with CLIA Lab Director, ensure inspection readiness and execute regulatory submissions (CLIA, CAP, and state licensure).

Operational Quality Support

• Provide day-to-day quality oversight of clinical laboratory operations, including review and approval of validation plans, QC data, and reports.
• Serve as QA reviewer/approver for method validation, verification, and change control documentation for both laboratory methods and assay software components
• Ensure effective management of reagents, instruments, and workflow changes per CLIA/CAP requirements.
• Support onboarding and verification of LDTs transferred from Diagnostic Assay Development teams
• Act as quality liaison with external auditors and partners.

Team Leadership and Growth

• Initially serve as an individual contributor responsible for implementing and maintaining quality processes.
• As sample volume and operations expand, recruit, train, and manage a small team of QA specialists or analysts supporting lab quality activities.
• Foster a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and scientific rigor.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Laboratory Operations, Diagnostic Assay Development, Clinical Bioinformatics, and IT teams to ensure compliant workflows and data integrity.
• Work with Quality and Regulatory leadership to align CLIA/CAP quality practices with 10x’s broader corporate systems and standards.
• Contribute to strategic planning for quality-related resources, tools, and training across diagnostic programs.

To be successful, you will Need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, Quality Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in quality assurance within a regulated clinical laboratory (CLIA/CAP environment).
• Demonstrated experience building or expanding quality systems in a CLIA lab setting.
• Strong working knowledge of CLIA / CAP quality and documentation requirements
• Additional knowledge of  FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing for and leading CAP inspections and CLIA audits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate across scientific, operational, and regulatory functions.
• Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable, capable of working effectively in an early-stage, fast-growing diagnostic environment.
• Experience with LIMS, electronic QMS tools, and training management systems is required.
