This is an exciting opportunity to join ITG's Talent Acquisition team on a permanent basis. As Technical Talent Partner, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end recruitment across a diverse range of technical and non-technical vacancies, supporting hiring across South Africa, the UK and Europe from the Cape Town area.
Working as part of a collaborative, geographically dispersed Talent team, you will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract, assess and secure exceptional talent. You will recruit across a broad spectrum of roles, from Manual Testers, Software Engineers and Engineering Managers through to centralised and corporate functions, including roles based in South Africa, UK and Europe.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities simultaneously and takes pride in delivering an outstanding experience for candidates and hiring managers. No two days will be the same, and you will be trusted to manage recruitment activity autonomously while contributing to continuous improvement across the Talent function.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Lifecycle Recruitment
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across technical and non-technical vacancies, from vacancy briefing and approval through to offer acceptance and onboarding handover
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, priorities, team context and the capabilities needed for success
- Guide stakeholders through the recruitment process, providing clear advice on market conditions, candidate availability and effective hiring approaches
- Write and publish accurate, engaging job adverts across appropriate channels
- Screen applications and conduct structured recruiter calls, assessing candidate experience and evidence against the agreed role requirements
- Coordinate interviews and maintain clear, timely communication with candidates and stakeholders throughout the process
- Manage offer processes and negotiations, maintaining candidate engagement through to successful hire
- Maintain accurate vacancy, candidate and pipeline data in Workable, ensuring the ATS remains the single source of truth
Technical & Non-Technical Recruitment Delivery
- Lead recruitment across technology disciplines including Manual Testing, Quality Assurance, Software Engineering, Engineering Management, Product, Project Management and Business Analysis
- Deliver recruitment for centralised and non-technical roles where required, adapting your approach to different functions, levels and markets
- Develop a strong understanding of technical skill sets and business requirements to run credible screening conversations with experienced candidates
- Manage vacancies based in South Africa, the UK and Europe, working effectively across locations and time zones
- Balance multiple live requirements and changing priorities while maintaining quality, pace and a consistent candidate experience
Candidate Attraction & Sourcing
- Proactively identify and engage candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, direct sourcing and other relevant channels
- Build and maintain talent pools for recurring, high-volume and business-critical skill sets
- Develop tailored sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles and provide realistic market feedback to hiring stakeholders
- Promote ITG's values and employer brand throughout the candidate journey
- Ensure every candidate receives a professional, inclusive and timely experience at each stage of the recruitment process
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and business leaders across South Africa, the UK and Europe
- Provide regular, accurate pipeline updates and clearly communicate risks, blockers and required actions
- Work closely with the wider Talent team across EMEA to maintain a joined-up approach to candidate management and recruitment delivery
- Collaborate with colleagues during periods of high demand and planned absence to ensure continuity across priority hiring
- Support recruitment reporting, hiring metrics and Talent projects as required
Process, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Champion data accuracy, process consistency and appropriate recruitment governance across all activity
- Identify process inefficiencies or system gaps and suggest practical improvements
- Support the adoption of recruitment technology, automation and evidence-based assessment practices
- Use recruitment data and market insight to help improve delivery, candidate experience and stakeholder decision-making

Requirements:
Essential
- Demonstrable experience managing full lifecycle recruitment in an in-house or agency environment
- Proven experience recruiting technical talent, including software engineering, testing, quality assurance or engineering leadership roles
- Strong direct sourcing capability, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates
- Confidence conducting structured recruiter calls with experienced technical and non-technical candidates
- Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously across different functions, levels or locations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining accurate systems and records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and warm approach
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System; Workable experience would be an advantage
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and able to reprioritise quickly as business needs change
- Able to work effectively on a flexible hybrid basis in the Cape Town area
Desirable
- Experience recruiting across South Africa, the UK or European markets
- Experience recruiting both technical and non-technical roles within a technology-led organisation
- Exposure to Engineering, Product, Digital, SaaS or software environments
- Experience working within a matrix or multi-stakeholder organisation
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed team and working across time zones
- An interest in recruitment technology, automation and process improvement
