Role Overview

1. Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities across diverse business areas and markets.
2. Develop strategic recommendations on key business matters for both short- and long-term priorities.
3. Support strategic initiatives including growth strategy, M&A, market entry, and business-case development.
4. Analyse market, financial, competitive, and customer data to develop clear business insights.
5. Conduct structured research using relevant industry and financial databases.
6. Build and review financial models, business cases, and analytical frameworks using Excel and related tools.
7. Support strategy projects from initial problem definition through execution, tracking timelines and expected outcomes.
8. Work closely with senior stakeholders and business teams to identify priorities, solve complex problems, and drive decisions.
9. Prepare high-quality presentations and communicate recommendations clearly to senior leadership.
10. Define market opportunities, competitive dynamics, entry strategies, project plans, and execution priorities for strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Desired Profile

• Strong problem-solving and structured-thinking capabilities.
• Ability to independently conduct business research and develop a well-supported point of view.
• Strong analytical, financial-modelling, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Engineering + MBA from a strong institution or CA qualification preferred (First attempt only).
• Prior experience in consulting and/or corporate strategy preferred.
• Exposure to multiple industries or sectors is advantageous.

Key Accountabilities

Growth & Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate markets, industries, competitors, growth drivers, and potential strategic opportunities.

Strategic Advisory: Define business problems, conduct relevant analysis, and provide prioritised recommendations.

Strategic Execution: Translate recommendations into structured project plans and support teams through implementation.

Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior business leaders and functional teams to facilitate problem-solving and decision-making.

Business Case Development: Assess commercial attractiveness, capabilities, synergies, entry approaches, and potential value creation.
