Server

The Server defines services our customer by taking and delivering food orders.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

· Confirms daily specials and provides detail information on ingredients as required

· Records client’s choices and relays same to kitchen

· Recalls orders accurately and delivers correct food items to clients

· Graciously and unobtrusively ensures client satisfaction with meals

· Ensures that clients know about new items on the menu

· Recommends wine and beverage pairings with assistance of bartender

· Recommends side dishes to compliment main courses

· Up-sells beverages, coffees and desserts as appropriate

· Handles all customer service concerns graciously, referring difficult issues to the Manager / Executive Chef

· Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements

The ideal candidate:

· High School Diploma

· 2-3 years previous experience in similar capacity

· Fully bilingual in French and English

The measures of success:

· Contribution to financial objectives

· Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals

· Feedback from internal and external clients

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :

Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's unique skills, expertise, individual qualifications, and assessed contributions to the role following the completion of the interview process.
