We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead – Sales to lead the technical design, development, and delivery of Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions across D2C and B2B channels. The role will focus on lead management, opportunity management, order management, forecasting, guided selling, and sales pipeline automation.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Salesforce expert with strong experience in Apex, LWC, integrations, DevOps, and scalable Salesforce architecture, along with proven leadership experience managing distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical solution design for Salesforce Sales features across D2C and B2B business models.
- Define technical approaches and architecture for Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, events, and enterprise integrations.
- Lead development teams through sprint planning, estimation, technical design, and implementation.
- Guide offshore and onsite engineers and ensure high-quality technical delivery.
- Establish and enforce Salesforce coding standards, integration patterns, security practices, and architectural principles.
- Design and manage integrations between Salesforce, ERP platforms, enterprise applications, and custom microservices.
- Lead production issue triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution for Sales Cloud systems.
- Oversee reusable components and frameworks while driving technical debt reduction and platform optimization.
- Mentor developers on scalable Salesforce architecture, Apex performance tuning, LWC development, and best practices.
- Partner with architects, product managers, onsite leads, and business stakeholders to define technical direction and solution trade-offs.
- Ensure release readiness, regression stability, deployment quality, and production reliability.
- Drive adoption of Agentforce, Copilot, AI-powered development practices, prompt engineering, and intelligent coding accelerators to improve engineering productivity and solution quality.
- Lead technical delivery for a distributed team of offshore and onsite engineers.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 12–15 years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 3 years in a Technical Lead role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salesforce PD1 and PD2 certifications preferred/required.
- Strong hands-on development experience in large-scale, fast-paced Salesforce environments.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, capabilities, limitations, security, and scalability.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Apex and Sales Cloud.
- Proven experience designing D2C and B2B sales solutions covering:
- Lead management
- Opportunity management
- Order management
- Forecasting
- Guided selling
- Pipeline automation
- Hands-on expertise in LWC and modern Salesforce development.
- Strong integration experience using middleware, APIs, events, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with corporate applications such as SAP/ERP systems and custom microservices.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce DevOps practices and tools such as Copado and Jenkins, including CI/CD pipeline design and optimization.
- Experience designing scalable Salesforce data and security models.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of approximately 8–10 offshore developers within an Agile environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical direction.
AI & Modern Development
- Experience with Agentforce, Copilot, AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, and coding accelerators.
- Ability to identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve development productivity, technical quality, and solution design.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript beyond basic LWC development is advantageous.
Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience in Automotive OEM, Retail, or Direct-to-Consumer environments.
- Knowledge of observability, logging, monitoring, and integration troubleshooting.
- Experience with Sales Analytics and data platforms such as Tableau and Amazon Redshift.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, finance, fulfillment, or logistics platforms.
- Understanding of lead-to-order, pricing, approvals, incentives, and order-to-cash workflows.
- Strong modern JavaScript development skills.
