035011 Roll Hanger Operator - First Shift (Open)Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Prior experience with saw and other production related equipment required.
- Ability to safely set up and operate equipment to meet production requirements.
- Knowledge and compliance of safety, quality, maintenance and housekeeping requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders to understand machine setup requirements.
- Ability to identify different paper grades and widths.
- Ability to calculate conversion of fractions to decimals, ability to read a tape measure, and calipers.
- Ability to work with the winder operator to plan stops and changeovers
- Ability to complete and maintain forklift certification
- Perform periodic quality checks to ensure compliance specifications and/or COAs using the CSAR quality system.
- Compliance with all OPEX recordkeeping requirements.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of lean tools such as 5-Why’s, Fishbone, 5’s, SMED, Operator care, Reliability, and RCPS.
- Performs other tasks, as required.
Education and Experience
- Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, attention to detail while still being able to work together with peers as a team.
- Adhere to specific quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to follow company policies and guidelines

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $17.55 - $28.03annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between17.55 to28.03. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases.
