About the role

Join PwC’s growing Retail, Consumer & Digital Consulting practice in Southeast Europe. You will work with retail and consumer clients on strategic, commercial, operational, and digital transformation topics—from diagnosis and strategy through implementation, adoption, and value realisation.

This is an end-to-end business transformation consulting role, not a pure marketing, digital product, e-commerce operations, or project management role.

What you’ll do

• Lead client engagements across commercial strategy, digital and AI, customer experience, e-commerce, omnichannel, pricing, promotions, assortment, supply chain, and operating-model transformation.
• Shape and lead engagements from initial opportunity and diagnosis through roadmap, implementation, change adoption, and benefits realisation.
• Develop proposals, account plans, business cases, statements of work, and senior client presentations.
• Lead workshops and senior stakeholder discussions; translate complex business challenges into clear recommendations and practical action plans.
• Identify and prioritise digital, data, and Agentic AI opportunities based on business value, feasibility, and implementation readiness.
• Manage project teams, workstreams, delivery quality, risks, timelines, and client expectations.
• Build trusted client relationships, identify follow-on opportunities, and contribute to account growth.
• Coach junior colleagues and build reusable practice assets, tools, and methodologies.

What we expect from you

• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, commercial excellence, transformation, corporate strategy or a comparable corporate transformation role.
• Strong experience in retail, consumer goods, FMCG, e-commerce or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of commercial and operational levers such as pricing, promotions, assortment, category management, customer experience, channel strategy, e-commerce, supply chain, store operations or revenue growth management.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex transformation initiatives from diagnosis through implementation—not only strategy design, marketing activation or technology deployment.
• Ability to build business cases and connect initiatives to measurable revenue, margin, cost, working-capital, customer or operational outcomes.
• Experience with transformation governance, KPI frameworks, operating-model change, stakeholder management, and adoption.
• Proven ability to lead senior client discussions, multidisciplinary teams, and complex project workstreams.
• Experience with proposals, commercial discussions, scope definition, and account growth is strongly preferred.
• Professional fluency in English; Croatian or another SEE language is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across SEE when needed.
