We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Research Administrator to oversee and support the administrative, operational, and business development functions associated with research programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in research administration, stakeholder coordination, proposal development, and operational management.
This role requires an individual who can effectively manage multiple research initiatives, support business growth opportunities, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the smooth execution of administrative and operational activities. Experience in clinical research operations will be an added advantage.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee administrative activities related to research programs, projects, and initiatives.
- Develop and implement efficient processes, systems, and workflows to support research operations.
- Coordinate with researchers, leadership teams, clients, sponsors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Support business development activities by identifying potential opportunities, partnerships, and research collaborations.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, business documents, and other materials for prospective clients and partners.
- Lead and coordinate proposal development, including gathering inputs, preparing documentation, reviewing submissions, and ensuring timely completion.
- Support planning and execution of research projects while ensuring administrative and operational requirements are met.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, documentation, and resource requirements.
- Work closely with operations teams to improve efficiency and ensure seamless execution of research activities.
- Support budgeting, reporting, documentation, and compliance-related activities where required.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain project records, prepare reports, and track action items.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, research organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions to improve processes and productivity.
- Contribute to strategic planning and initiatives aimed at expanding research capabilities and business opportunities.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and record management across research programs.
- Provide administrative guidance and support to research teams and leadership.
Must-Have Skills
- Research Administration / Administration: Strong experience managing administrative functions, processes, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Business Development: Experience supporting business growth, partnerships, client engagement, opportunity identification, or strategic initiatives.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Operations and operational process management.
- Exposure to Clinical Research Operations, clinical trials, healthcare research, or research program coordination.
- Experience in Proposal Development, including RFP/RFI responses, research proposals, grant applications, or client submissions.
- Knowledge of research compliance, documentation standards, and regulatory processes.
- Experience working with research institutions, healthcare organizations, universities, CROs, or similar environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Research Management, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in research administration, operations, business development, or related functions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
