Your Role as a PTA
Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will play an important role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities include:
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence
Assist patients with gait training, therapeutic exercises, transfers, and functional activities
Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT
Provide education and encouragement to patients and caregivers
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care teams
Promote patient safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications
Current and active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
