About the Role
Join BDO's Strategy & Transformation team and play a key role in helping organisations solve complex challenges, shape future direction, and deliver meaningful change.
As a Manager, you'll work alongside experienced consulting professionals to deliver practical, evidence-based solutions for a diverse range of government, private sector and not-for-profit clients. From strategic planning and business case development through to transformation delivery and operational improvement, you'll partner with clients to drive better outcomes and create lasting impact.
This is an opportunity to lead and contribute to high-profile engagements, working closely with senior stakeholders to tackle complex problems, facilitate strategic discussions, and develop innovative, actionable solutions. You'll also play an important role in mentoring team members, contributing to business development activities, and supporting the continued growth of our Strategy & Transformation practice.
About You
You're a curious, commercially minded consulting professional who enjoys helping organisations navigate complexity and achieve meaningful outcomes. You bring strong strategic thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- Experience in consulting or professional services, particularly in strategy, transformation, operating model design, process improvement or related areas.
- The ability to lead complex projects from planning and scoping through to delivery and implementation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging and influencing senior leaders.
- Commercial acumen and experience identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals and supporting business growth.
- A collaborative leadership style and a passion for coaching and developing others.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering quality outcomes.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Science, Health, Law or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
