Internship – Transaction Services Nordics & Baltics

ING’s Nordic Desk is based in Brussels, the capital of Europe. With its newly renovated offices in the middle of the capital you will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled and experienced bankers and product experts covering the bank’s corporate clients in the Nordic & Baltic countries.

About the job

The Nordic Desk covers large corporates in the Nordic & Baltic market. The team is based in Brussels supported by an office in Stockholm. Our aim is to maximise the cooperation between ING and a selected number of clients throughout the world. The internship program will give the individual great visibility and exposure to both the operational and strategic activities of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide daily support to team members, such as;

• Carry out financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis
• Initiate fundamental risk and credit analysis
• Do research on prospects and clients
• Liaise with product partners
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations
• Participating in client meetings
• Take notes in calls, and make call reports

To be a candidate you are

• enrolled at a university is a hard requirement for internships in Belgium
• We preferably invite candidates in the penultimate or last year of your studies
• ready to commit for 6 months, office location in Brussels, Belgium
• fluent in English and a Nordic language (Danish, Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish)
• a team player with good communication skills
