As a Dev Engineer specializing in NSX and Datacenter Networks, you’ll play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure for millions of customers.
You’ll work in an agile squad, collaborating closely with the Product Manager and fellow engineers to deliver high-impact solutions. Daily stand-ups, sprint planning and reviews are part of your routine, supported by modern tools and a strong DevOps culture.
What You’ll Do
Design, implement and maintain secure and high-performing network infrastructure automation.
Develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure automation using Python, APIs, scripting and orchestration tools.
Build reusable automation workflows for provisioning, configuration validation, monitoring and operational support.
Integrate network platforms and tooling through REST APIs, data models and automated pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to a shared team backlog.
Continuously improve infrastructure, documentation, and processes.
Monitor, evaluate, and enhance Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management processes.
Technical Skills:
Networking & Security
Deep expertise in VMware NSX (certification preferred).
Broad knowledge of LAN, WAN, and datacenter environments.
Experience with routing and switching protocols in high-availability setups.
Understanding security and risk principles in infrastructure design.
Hands-on experience with firewalls and Open Networking platforms is a plus.
Cloud, Automation & API Integration
Familiarity with orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, Azure Automation, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or AWS CloudFormation.
Strong Python experience for automation, tooling, data processing and operational scripts.
Practical experience working with REST APIs, JSON, YAML, authentication methods, and API-driven integrations.
Scripting skills in Python are strongly preferred; experience with Bash, PowerShell, Java or JavaScript is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
DevOps & Agile
Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
Experience with Git-based workflows, automated testing, code reviews and deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with Scrum methodology (e.g., backlog, sprint planning, reviews).
