Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a EFT/POS Field Technician to join our ever evolving Operations team and help shape the future of global commerce.

In Greece, we conduct business through EDPS, which is one of the leading FINTECH companies in the country, specializing in Payments Processing and Advanced Payment Solutions. Our goal is to be the go-to solution for large retailers across all sectors and offer cutting edge technology to accept and process electronic payments on both physical location (POS) and eCommerce environments.

What you’ll own

• The main function of a EFT/POS Field technician is to install, maintain, and validate correct operations of the EFT/POS equipment at customer site.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues affecting payment terminals

• Conduct field visits to customer locations for installations, replacements, repairs, and upgrades

• Train merchants and end users on the proper use and basic troubleshooting of POS equipment

• Provide customer service and diagnostic skills.

• PC or EFT/POS installation/repair experience an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided to the right candidate.

• Escalate complex technical issues when required and follow through until resolution

• Flexibility to rotate working hours with other team members is critical.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, security standards, and health & safety requirements

• Provide professional customer support and maintain strong client relationships

• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

What you’ll bring

• At least secondary education. University Degree is desirable.

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience within the Fintech/payments industry would be beneficial

• Excellent Communication Skills, verbal and written.

• Customer service oriented and personable.

• Strong listening and problem-solving skills.

• Pro-active attitude and team oriented.

• Problem-solving attitude.

• Committed to support.

• Excellent PC Skills

• Driver’s license B category (active driver)
