THE ROLE:
As a Support Services Data and Reporting Analyst, you'll help teams across Support and Operations use data to make informed decisions, improve performance and automate recurring processes. You'll work hands-on across data analysis, reporting, platform integrations and automation - gathering requirements, analysing data from multiple sources, building data models, and helping teams establish reliable metrics and structures for internal stakeholders and clients.
This role increasingly works with data held in a cloud data warehouse, using modern data-transformation practices, so SQL is essential.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Analyse data generated by Support and Operations activities, as well as data required by other business teams, to identify trends, answer operational questions and support evidence-based decisions.
- Gather, clarify and document reporting and analytics requirements from stakeholders, including account management, customers, product development and other relevant teams.
- Use SQL to query, validate, combine and investigate data, primarily through the company's data warehouse.
- Develop, maintain and improve dashboards, reports and analytical solutions in Sigma Computing for multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to data modelling and transformation activities.
- Integrate and reconcile information from relevant systems, which may include Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Salesforce, Monday.com and warehouse data.
- Automate recurring reporting and operational tasks to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write queries for data extraction, filtering, joins, aggregation and validation.
- Experience in data analysis and analytics, including interpreting business requirements, investigating data and communicating useful findings.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, plus Sigma Computing or another business-intelligence/data-visualisation platform.
- Knowledge of relational databases and core data concepts, with confidence working with structured data.
- Experience handling complex Excel workbooks, including advanced formulas.
- Experience integrating, comparing or reconciling data from multiple sources.
- Strong documentation discipline and experience applying clear, consistent analytical standards.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Snowflake, dbt, Python or R.
- Excel macros or automation.
