Summary:
This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing and guiding complex technical projects, driving innovation leveraging AI, and ensuring the successful delivery of high- quality software products. This role involves a combination of hands-on technical work, strategic planning, and team leadership. If you have the drive to lead and mentor engineering teams, the ability to set a technology vision for greenfield/brownfield SaaS products and excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, including product management and other stakeholders, this position is for you

Roles & Responsibilities:
Proven experience building AI-native products, platforms, or enterprise solutions.
Deep expertise in Generative AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, AI orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
Strong hands-on software engineering experience with proficiency in Python and modern software development practices.
Expertise in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient systems.
Strong system design and architecture skills with experience creating reusable frameworks, platforms, APIs, and shared services.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous business and technical problems and translate them into scalable solutions.
Experience evaluating, benchmarking, and optimizing AI systems for quality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Strong research mindset with experience conducting technical research, technology evaluations, and feasibility studies.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize research papers, industry publications, benchmarks, and emerging technologies into practical engineering solutions.
Proven track record of driving innovation from concept through prototyping, validation, and adoption across multiple teams.
Experience contributing to patents, invention disclosures, technical publications, open-source projects, or equivalent innovation initiatives.
Ability to influence technical direction and engineering practices across multiple teams without direct authority.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
Experience establishing engineering standards, architectural best practices, and reusable patterns across organizations.


Professional & Technical Skills:
Experience with model fine-tuning, model optimization, and advanced machine learning techniques.
Knowledge of ranking systems, recommendation systems, information retrieval, semantic search, and vector databases.
Experience with cross-encoders, reranking models, embeddings, and AI evaluation methodologies.
Experience building multi-agent systems, autonomous workflows, and advanced reasoning architectures.
Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool-calling frameworks, and agent integration patterns.
Experience building internal AI platforms, developer tooling, and engineering accelerators.
Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, model deployment, observability, and AI governance practices.
Experience with cloud-native architectures and services on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Understanding of statistical modeling, experimentation frameworks, confidence calibration, and A/B testing.
Exposure to enterprise SaaS products and platform engineering.
Experience working in compliance, taxation, regulatory, finance, or other knowledge-intensive domains.
Active participation in technical communities, standards bodies, industry forums, or AI research groups.
