Hours: 08:00am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday with occasional Satudays.

Role Purpose:
The Business Development Executive plays an important role in growing our business by building strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers. This is a customer-facing role where you will represent our organisation, understand customer needs and help deliver the right solutions. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues and customers from a wide range of backgrounds, so a collaborative and respectful approach is key.
What will I be doing?
Identifying and developing sales opportunities across our full range of products.
Preparing clear and accurate quotations that meet customer needs.
Negotiating solutions that work for both the customer and the business.
Keeping customer records up to date and using them to support effective sales activity.
Sharing information with colleagues to maximise opportunities, solve problems and support decision-making.
Ensuring customer accounts are managed in line with agreed credit terms.
Keeping up to date with market trends and customer demands.
Carrying out any other reasonable duties to support the wider team and business.
What do we need from you?
Experience in a customer-facing sales role.
Good knowledge of building materials and the construction market.
Willingness to work across both field-based and office-based sales.
A full, clean driving licence • Awareness of Health and Safety practices.
A strong focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
Confidence using IT systems such as CRM platforms, Excel and Outlook.
Good communication skills, including face-to-face, phone and written communication.
