The Associate Client Service Manager supports plan sponsors, advisors, partners and third-party administrators. Accountable for overall delivery of service to our clients. Manages daily communications with internal and external parties to maintain strong client relationships; manages and coordinates inquiries and addresses issues within required timeframes.
What You Will Do
- Support plan sponsors, advisors, partners, and third-party administrators (TPAs) by providing timely and accurate service related to retirement plan administration.
- Manage day-to-day communications with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong client relationships and resolve inquiries within established service timeframes.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding client issues with internal functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Research and resolve inquiries related to contributions, loans, distributions, enrollment, payroll support, compliance, audits, reporting, and general retirement plan administration.
- Track issues through resolution and keep clients informed of progress, status, and next steps.
- Resolve straightforward client inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior team members as appropriate.
- Educate clients on retirement plan provisions and functionality available through plan sponsor and participant websites and EIVR.
- Promptly coordinate escalated issues with appropriate internal teams.
- Promote client self-service and provide education on available functionality and resources within the Plan Sponsor Service Center.
- Assist senior team members with the coordination and completion of client service and plan administration activities.
What You Will Bring
- High school diploma.
- 0–1 year of experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and applicable Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations related to retirement plans.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.
- FINRA Fingerprinting required. The posting references financial services and retirement plans but does not currently include fingerprinting language; add this if FINRA fingerprinting applies to the position.
What Will Set You Apart
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, prioritize work effectively, and problem-solve.
- Experience supporting 401(k) or other defined contribution retirement plans.
- Experience providing client service to plan sponsors, advisors, or third-party administrators.
