Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales growth and market share expansion for Becton Dickinson (BD) products within a designated territory, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring effective product positioning and utilization.
Job Responsibilities
* Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas for BD products within the designated territory.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and drive product adoption.
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including key accounts and market segments.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and key decision-makers.
* Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and in-service trainings to educate customers on BD product features, benefits, and proper usage.
* Provide clinical and technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving product-related issues.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical affairs, and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
* Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, reports, and territory analyses.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and professional development activities.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
* 3-7 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
* Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including hospital operations, purchasing processes, and regulatory environment.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market opportunities and develop effective sales plans.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
