Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when necessary.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and debug software issues effectively.
- Experience in maintaining and supporting business-critical applications in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with various software components and understand their interactions within larger systems.
- Good communication skills to articulate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language.
- This position is based at our MDC5C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
