About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Specialist to lead our inventory, warehouse, and distribution operations. This role is critical in ensuring that inputs are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time to all stakeholders.

You will oversee end-to-end logistics, from warehouse management and inventory accuracy to transport coordination and last-mile delivery, while driving strong performance against key metrics. You will also play an important role in strengthening team capability and improving logistics systems.

Responsibilities

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Oversee inventory storage and handling across all warehouse locations
• Ensure warehouses are well-equipped, organized, and operating efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory data and ensure timely monthly reconciliations
• Drive strong performance on key metrics (e.g. shrinkage, variance, reporting timelines)

Delivery Planning & Execution

• Plan and coordinate distribution from initial modelling to final last-mile delivery

Transport Coordination

• Create daily and weekly transport plans based on demand and available capacity

• Conduct market research to ensure all goods and services are sourced at the best possible value for money.

As the Country IT Operations Technician, you will be responsible for managing the IT Operations, Projects, and Services for our Zambia Program. You will work alongside the Deputy Country Director of the Zambia Program to ensure that Zambia IT Operations complies with One Acre Fund's Global IT Standards.

About the Role

This role is responsible for the coordination and oversight of fruit seedling nursery operations across decentralised production sites within the area of operation. Key responsibilities include propagation management, nursery monitoring, vendor oversight to ensure compliance with quality standards, and coordination of timely distribution of fruit seedlings. The role ensures that all seedlings produced or procured meet required quality standards and are delivered efficiently to intended beneficiaries.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership (Budding & Grafting)

• Serve as the subject matter expert in fruit seedling propagation, particularly budding and grafting techniques.
• Develop and standardize propagation protocols for different fruit tree species.
• Ensure best practices are applied across all nurseries and supplier operations.

Program Planning & Execution

• Lead seasonal planning of fruit seedling production (April–December cycle).
• Forecast demand and align production plans with distribution targets.
• Coordinate procurement of inputs (rootstock, scions, polythene tubes, soil media, etc.).
• Ensure timely nursery setup and readiness across location.

Nursery Capacity Building & Training

• Train nursery managers and staff from foundational to advanced levels in:
• Budding and grafting techniques
• Seedling care and management
• Pest and disease control
• Nursery hygiene and handling practices
• Identify training needs and support capacity development initiatives.
• Conduct regular on-site coaching and performance assessments.

About the Role

The Financial Advisory Services Specialist in Zambia supports the financial health and sustainability of One Acre Fund’s Carbon and Core programs. You'll collaborate closely with local and Global Finance teams to lead budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting that directly influence program performance and organizational strategy. You'll work within a two-person Zambia FAS team, consisting of a FAS Associate and this Specialist role.

Responsibilities

Budgeting, Monthly Budget v Actual (BVA) + Grant ReportingYou will work with department heads to set annual budgets and manage monthly BVA process

• You will present new strategies and assessments to stakeholders in compelling arguments
• You will provide important assessments of all budgets and cost projections and conduct cost-benefit analyses for individual departments and the organization as a whole through examining current spending, financial forecasts, and overall goals to make recommendations and guide decisions.
• You will conduct monthly marginal analysis for all Zambia business units to provide analytical support on key causes
• You will work with department heads to strategize ways to maximize cost efficiency at all levels without compromising quality and will roll out clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals.

Monthly Payroll Quality Check (QC)

• You will conduct a monthly payroll review of field and office (HQ) staff and explain variances compared to the previous month and compared to budget
• You will provide a high-level explanation of the variances to the Country Director (CD) before approving the payment request

About the Role

The Case Investigation & Audit Supervisor is a critical role within the Business Operations department. You will be responsible for safeguarding the organization’s integrity and ensuring the highest standards of Customer Protection (CP). You will lead investigations into fraud and harassment, and manage routine and ad-hoc audits. As an "Owner," you will not only identify risks but also recommend strategic courses of actions to improve farmer satisfaction and operational quality.

Responsibilities

• Audit Ownership: Develop data-driven criteria to detect fraud early (including Repayment Fraud, Ghost Farmers, and Input Swaps. Additionally, you will plan and execute the seasonal audit calendar.
• Investigation Management: Lead case investigations into Client Protection violations (Tier I, II, and III). Report findings and recommend disciplinary or corrective actions to leadership.
• Capacity Building & Training: Train field staff and clients on CP best practices, repayment processes, and document filing to ensure staff remain protected and farmers are respected.
• Data Entry Support: Provide data entry support to the Business Operations leadership team to shape the annual customer strategy and enhance impact per farmer.
• Site Visitations: Conduct regular field visits via motorbike to engage with farmers and verify compliance with operational standards.
