This is the team that closed the largest single customer booking in our core domestic sales org last year—and we’re just getting started.
You’ll lead complex, enterprise-wide sales efforts that bring modern technology, data, and connected workflows into historically under-innovated environments. This isn’t transactional selling—you’ll build executive-level relationships, shape a compelling vision for change, and guide agencies from legacy systems to fully integrated ecosystems that improve safety, accountability, and outcomes.

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Position Objective:
The Assistant Project Manager will be supporting the execution of projects, starting with the engineering and procurement phase, and leading up to commercial operation. Qualifying candidates will have a demonstrated track record of success in working cohesively across several project support functions including development, engineering, construction, and finance to meet scheduled project completion dates.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating and supporting multiple project schedules, budgets, and financial requirements with competing deadlines and resources across companywide functional teams.
• Working with engineers and project managers to document product or contractor specifications and work scopes during planning stages.
• Assisting Project Manager(s) with submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change orders request for information, pay application support and close-out documents.
• Preparing project controls, budget setup, schedules of values/billing mechanisms, and maintain each in at the direction of the Project Manager(s).
• Providing steady and reliable communication while also managing complicated schedules, budgets, contractors, people, risks, and other resources.
• Assisting in ensuring all safety, quality, and environmental policies of the Company and project owners are followed by all project personnel.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience supporting operations, engineering or construction.
• Solar engineering or construction experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and organizational capacity to manage multiple projects.
• Self-motivated and self -starter, with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must possess strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Self-motivated with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
• Working knowledge with Microsoft Office/365 is a ‘must’, project management, and CRM software such as Salesforce a plus.
• Must have a “roll up your sleeves and let’s get the job done right” type attitude.

• Ability to travel and access sites of varying terrain. Position requires frequent travel, up to 1-2 weeks per month or about 20% of working time; must carry an active driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Compensation: $65,000-$85,000 (Exempt)
