About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to join our People Services Excellence team. This role supports backend operations including invoice processing, vendor coordination, and budget reporting across People-related services such as Workplace Operations, Global Mobility, and Business Travel.
We value accuracy over speed, independent problem-solving, and full ownership of tasks from start to finish. You will work closely with People, Finance, Admin, and Real Estate teams to ensure timely payment processing and contribute to team efficiency and scalability.

The Opportunity:
Based in our Bangkok office, this accounting role will work across Agoda’s core operational entities, which mainly focus on accommodation and flight reservations. This role offers the opportunity to explore the accounting and finance of an online travel agency (OTA) with all the functions that drive OTA products. You will also have the chance to coordinate with other brands within Booking Holdings and gain exposure to international accounting and finance.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
Financial Accounts
Maintain accounting records including journal entries
Maintain and control over fixed assets register
Issue and control over invoices, tax invoices, receipts
Coordinate with intercompany related to month-end closing and confirmation
Correspond with external auditors for statutory financial report
Identifying and communicating issues to the Manager
Assist accounting manager on ad-hoc assignment
Reporting
Prepare financial closing, reporting packages, accounts reconciliation and analysis on the responsible areas
Prepare detail reports to support manager on the Quarterly Balance Sheet review with CFO
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
3-5 years’ experience in accounting field
Graduated Bachelor in Accountancy
Accounting standard knowledge (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP, and Local Accounting Standard)
Preparation of Statutory reports
Proficient ERP Software (Oracle is preferable)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Microsoft office packages (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent analytical/numerical skills – including strong attention to detail

Experience in preparing financial statements under US GAAP

Strategy & Analytics is fast growing and dynamic team within Strategic Partnerships department of Agoda. Strategic Partnerships is a team of creative entrepreneurs that develop solutions for Agoda’s non-accommodation partners and promote Agoda’s top and bottom line growth. We design tailored business and product solutions with our partners and help them generate measurable value. Members of our team are empowered and supported to grow their market(s) or accounts. The Strategy & Analytics team’s scope includes profitability optimization, target setting, KPI management, data analytics and business strategy.

Key Areas of Focus:
In this role, you’ll get to:
Strategy: Conduct analyses to identify growth opportunities and prioritize investment areas in APAC for Strategic Partnerships team based on analytical insights, industry trends, and changing competitive landscape.
Analytics: Leverage data & tools to analyze SP performance and identify appropriate levers to improve performance.
Cross-functional projects: Work with different teams inside SP (B2B, White Label, Affiliates, Financial Institutions, different markets across APAC, etc.) and outside of SP (product, marketing, supply, finance, etc.) to drive initiatives.
Performance management: Maintain and optimize a performance management system for the department, including a large team of account managers
Data & tools: Oversee SP data infrastructure to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Design, manage, and oversee the maintenance of data tools to support decision making.
Performance reporting: Preparing updates on business performance, proposals, and recommendations to senior management.
Pricing Experiments: Optimize pricing strategy and make decisions based on A/B experiments.

Job Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you work closely with our customers and Development team. You are responsible for analyzing, capturing, and prioritizing the requirements for the new customer experience initiatives of our customers. You will need to manage customer expectations and help them to translate their vision into a project that can be implemented within time and budget. The job comes with great responsibility and offers the opportunity to work side by side with our customers and guide them to achieve desired outcomes. Typical responsibilities include:
• Gather, define, and prioritize requirements of the project in close collaboration with the client
• Write functional requirements using use case specifications or user stories
• Perform business process gap analysis and manage requirement change
• Act as "product owner" for the project to guide the team making the right choices to maximize project & customer success
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to configure / optimize the customer experience
Skills / Experience / Qualification
Types of experience & skills that we are looking for:
• University education and degree (preferable business or IT related), and strong academic record
• Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in a similar role
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a client facing position
• Experience working in the scrum environment
• Experience in requirements management and/or process modeling
• Knowledge of multiple development methodologies, e.g. RUP, Kanban, SCRUM, Waterfall
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English
• Perseverance and pragmatism to solve complex problems
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment
Desirable:
• Experienced in business processes and forms solutions
• Experience in banking industry
• Experienced in requirement management tools
• Experienced in project management tools
• Experienced with e-commerce
