We are now looking for a Director of Growth Marketing (1-year cover starting mid June) to take ownership of our digital growth and continue building on a strong foundation.

The Role in a Nutshell
As Director of Growth Marketing, you will own Mentimeter’s digital growth strategy and execution end-to-end.
You will lead a team across three core areas:
- Paid Marketing: driving scalable, efficient acquisition
- Organic Growth: ensuring strong discoverability across search, LLMs and AI-driven environments
- Website: optimizing the website as a conversion engine for both self-serve and enterprise
These areas are deeply interconnected. Your role is to ensure they work together as a cohesive growth system, driving registrations, activation, and revenue.
You will be directly accountable for how digital contributes to self-serve growth and enterprise pipeline & lead generation.
You will work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment and prioritization across teams, and play a key role in shaping how growth is prioritized at a company level.
Reporting to the CMO, you will act as the owner of digital growth at Mentimeter, responsible for both direction and results.
The role starts mid June and includes a handover period before the leave.
Your Mission: Drive digital growth at scale
- Lead and develop the team
Build and support a high-performing growth marketing team across paid, organic search and website - Own acquisition and conversion end-to-end
Ensure we attract the right users and convert them into active customers - Scale our growth engine
Drive improvements on the website across UX, content, and structure to increase conversion and activation - Drive enterprise pipeline through digital
Ensure the website and campaigns generate high-quality leads and support ABM initiatives - Align stakeholders and priorities
Work across Product, Sales, and Marketing to drive focus and clarity - Improve performance and efficiency
Optimize spend, channels, and funnel performance to increase ROI

Who You Are
🔥You’ve led growth in an environment where multiple teams, channels, and product surfaces need to work together.
A proven growth leader with experience in SaaS or product-led environments
📊 Data-driven and analytical, with a strong understanding of performance, budgets and ROI
🎯 Hands-on across paid, SEO and website — comfortable balancing strategy with execution
🌍 A strong understanding of how digital channels work together to drive growth
🤝 Experienced in working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams
🚀 Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments where there is no clear playbook, prioritizing effectively, and navigating complexity
You are not focused on optimizing a single channel — you understand how the system works, and how to make it perform.

What This Role Is About
As part of the Global Customer Marketing team, reporting to the Customer Marketing Director, you’ll translate global strategy into locally relevant, commercially impactful initiatives. You’ll work closely with EMEA Sales leadership to prioritize accounts based on our revenue model, own the regional event strategy and budget, and deliver campaigns that drive account engagement and inbound opportunities.
This is a hands-on, ownership-oriented role — you’ll be both execution-driven and commercially minded, with real accountability for measurable business outcomes.
Your Mission: What You’ll Do
Lead Field & Customer Marketing in EMEA
- Own and execute customer and field marketing programs across high-touch and premium segments.
- Increase account engagement through tailored initiatives aligned to regional priorities.
- Partner with Sales leadership to prioritize accounts and refine regional go-to-market execution.
Deliver Measurable Commercial Impact
- Drive inbound opportunities and influence pipeline growth through targeted engagement.
- Track, measure, and optimize based on KPIs like engagement, opportunity influence, and ROI.
- Continually improve regional marketing operations with insight-backed refinements.
Own Regional Events & Programs
- Design and implement the EMEA event calendar — from industry events to customer events and webinars.
- Manage regional marketing budget decisions tied to commercial impact.
- Ensure events and programs are locally relevant and aligned with global playbooks.
Translate Global Strategy into Local Success
- Localize global campaigns in ways that resonate with EMEA and DACH audiences.
- Provide structured feedback from the market to inform global strategy.
- Identify trends, competitive dynamics, and regional needs that unlock better performance.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6+ years of B2B or SaaS marketing experience with a focus on field, customer, or revenue- aligned marketing.
- A commercial mindset — you get pipeline, account engagement, opportunity influence, and ROI.
- Track record owning regional programs, events, and budget decisions.
- Strong collaborator — you work comfortably with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams.
- German language skills at a professional level are required
- Ability to balance execution with analysis and continuous improvement.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems (e.g., Salesforce, Braze) is a plus.
- An AI-first, experimental mindset — you proactively use AI to work smarter, uncover insights faster, and increase marketing impact. You’re curious, test-driven, and continuously improving how work gets done.
