Traveling Superintendent - Paving

Lead and supervise field crews, foremen, subcontractors, and jobsite activities on capital projects

Perform site maintenance of parking lots and complete repair work on site, as required
- Oversee daily construction operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
- Partner with Project Managers to develop site logistics plans, sequencing, and execution strategies
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and monitor construction activities and schedules
- Promote and enforce company safety standards with strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Maintain productive working relationships with owners, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and equipment to support project schedules
- Resolve construction issues by collaborating with engineering, supervisory staff, and suppliers
- Complete detailed daily field documentation and reporting
- Represent the company professionally during site visits and client interactions
- 5+ years of experience in construction supervision (paving and/or concrete experience preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and multiple job sites
- Willingness and ability to travel 100% nationwide
- Solid work history demonstrating reliability, accountability, and adaptability
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to construction-related noise, dust, heat, and cold
- Ability to communicate clearly in fast-paced jobsite environments

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of SRE engineers to operate SaaS capabilities across multiple regions on the cloud platform
- Design, implement, configure, and utilize monitoring systems to monitor the health of SaaS products
- Manage infrastructure used for ArcGIS Velocity and ArcGIS Workflow Manager, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot problems to resolution
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions for repetitive operational tasks, such as deployment pipelines, incident resolution, and scaling processes
- Design and implement the deployment and upgrade containerized micro-service components that, when combined, power Esri’s SaaS offerings
- Create and automate Git workflows to simplify code integration, testing, and infrastructure deployments
- Participate in technical spike efforts, bringing new innovative ideas to future versions of our software
- Troubleshoot the system incidents and provide root cause analysis reports
- Provide rotational on-call technical support
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing Kubernetes (EKS), logging and monitoring (ELK, Prometheus), and container technologies (Docker, ECS)
- Proficient in using Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management
- Ability to design and automate Git workflows for streamlined code integration, testing, and infrastructure deployment
- Ability to write scripts to deploy infrastructure and/or applications (Bash, Python, Terraform)
- High level of understanding and experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS)
- Strong knowledge of Linux Operating system administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and shell scripting
- Proficient in cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and VPNs in platforms like AWS
- Skilled in identifying and resolving system and application issues through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of a source control and issue management system, preferably GitHub
- Working knowledge of authoring, deploying, and troubleshooting Java applications on AWS Lambda
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, GIS, or information systems
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing, administering, and/or maintaining cloud environments, such as AWS, supporting 24×7 high-availability production environments
- Interest in working with GitOps principles to automate the deployment of applications on Kubernetes clusters

2nd Shift - Unarmed Security Officer

Marksman Security is looking for qualified candidates to join our team of dedicated and compassionate security officers and firefighters.
Security Officer $18.50 p/hr.
Tuesday and Wednesday 5:00am - 1:00pm & Thursday thru Saturday 1:00pm to 9:00pm
40 Hour Week - 1st & 2nd Shift
(Sundays & Mondays Off)
The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience in security and customer service fields.

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

What You'll Do
- Rover — Vehicle/foot patrols; deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity
- Gatehouse — Access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors
- Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements

Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
- Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
- Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
- Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
- Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
- Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
- Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
- Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
- Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
- Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
- Other duties to be determined by management
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid state licensing
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Minimum of one year of security experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
- This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
