About This Role:
The Communications Specialist serves as Enterprise Digital’s strategic communications owner—responsible for developing communication strategies, crafting key messages, and delivering high-impact communication materials with minimal oversight. This role leads communication planning across ED, partners directly with senior leaders, and ensures alignment with Enterprise Digital strategy pillars, priorities, and culture.
The Communications Specialist proactively identifies narrative opportunities, elevates storytelling across the department, and ensures consistency of voice, message discipline, and communication quality across all ED channels. This role is a critical partner in shaping how Enterprise Digital informs, inspires, and engages the broader organization.
What You'll Do:
- Own the Enterprise Digital communications strategy across all channels.
- Lead quarterly and annual communications planning cycles, ensuring alignment with ED priorities (End-to-End Processes, AI, Innovation, Digital Readiness).
- Recommend improvements to communications approach, channel usage, and message cadence.
- Present communication strategies and recommendations to leadership.
- Independently develop key messages, communication plans, and storytelling frameworks for major ED initiatives.
- Serve as primary writer for complex or high-visibility communications (e.g., leadership updates, strategic initiatives, innovation stories, digital transformation narratives).
- Translate technical content (AI/ML, portfolio, data, change management) into accessible, compelling storytelling.
- Produce high-quality communication materials including:
- Newsletters, NSN stories, enterprise updates
- Strategic department meeting content
- Executive talking points
- Project go-live announcements and narratives
- Digital transformation-related success stories
- Site/intranet content
- Maintain editorial standards and ensure message consistency across platforms.
- Partner directly with Change Management and key stakeholder across Enterprise Digital to shape communication goals.
- Provide counsel on messaging strategy, narrative framing, and change readiness communications.
- Serve as a trusted communications advisor within Enterprise Digital.
- Collaborate across Enterprise Digital teams to ensure integrated and aligned messaging.
- Proactively surface themes and opportunities for cross-functional storytelling.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Business, or a related field.
- Formal training or certification in change management preferred.
- 3–5+ years in corporate communications, internal communications, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies, not just executing them.
- Experience owning communications for enterprise or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Proven ability to work directly with senior leaders.
- Ability to craft compelling stories from complex information.
- Expertise in communication planning, channel strategy, and message development.
- Ability to elevate communication quality and maintain consistency across the department.
- Strong visual, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to drive alignment across diverse subject areas and stakeholders.
- Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Comfortability in Microsoft Co Pilot or other generative AI tools.
- Poppulo and Canva ( proficiency in other comparable tools is ok)

Project Architect V - Healthcare

- Manage critical path process to lead project team through all technical and production aspects from initial stages of pre-design through project completion.
- Lead the regular and ongoing engagement with the Office or Project Quality Leader for general and targeted project support.
- Lead the integration and development of all technical aspects and content of the work and translate them into our instruments of service.
- Work with the Project Manager to establish and maintain realistic work and labor plans and deliverable schedules that contribute to the bottom-line financial success and satisfy contractual obligations.
- Engage in and contributes to the Project Risk Assessment process including updates. Proactively identifies, communicates, mitigates, and resolves project-related issues.
- Guide and assist Project Architects in the development of Project Quality Plans and updates to effectively manage project Quality including phase milestone reviews and project pinups/technical charettes.
- Review the development of and lead the execution of the documentation strategy for each phase drawing document deliverable through the Cartooning process.
- Work in collaboration with Project Designer. Lead to manage/align design aspirations with client goals, project budget, schedule and team.
- Lead the translation of the project design intent through the technical documentation and construction phases to project completion.
- Lead the integration of the project’s building performance and sustainable design goals into a holistic design solution.
- Continuously monitor project documentation and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Guide and assist Project Architects in the Life Safety, Building and Energy Code analysis and compliance process for the project.
- Lead coordination of all disciplines with the architectural design intent.
- Collaborate with the Model Manager to monitor quality of the model processes, content, and deliverables.
- Lead the alignment of the contract documentation by working closely with the Project Specification Writer, verifying Project Manual content and its coordination with the drawings.
- Lead all aspects of the Construction Administration phase responsibilities including the timely response to RFIs and submittals.
- Monitor, train and direct the work of all project team members, focusing on technical quality and process standards.
- Meets established utilization target.
- May assist Office Quality Leader with other project Quality reviews.
- Supports office Quality efforts outside of direct project commitments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel as required.
- Professional business attire required when attending client meetings. Examples of professional business attire include suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses, and skirts.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum 10 years of related professional experience required. Experience must include 5 years in increasingly responsible roles in construction documentation on institutional and/or commercial projects and at least 3 years in a responsible role in construction administration on large institutional or commercial projects.
- Previous experience on large, complex projects.
- Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
