Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.
We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast.

Imagine Worldwide partners with governments, organizations, and communities to provide child-directed, tablet-based learning that is accessible, effective, and affordable. We are incorporated in California (United States) as a nonprofit organization, but operate in Sub-Saharan Africa through locally-registered entities in Malawi, Sierra Leone and Tanzania. The Director of Government Partnerships will play an instrumental role in carrying out Imagine’s mission, to design, deliver, and scale tablet-based learning solutions that enable children to become literate and numerate in Sierra Leone, and secondly institutionalizing the program within the government for long-term sustainability. The Director will join a highly committed and collaborative team that is working together to empower every child, everywhere to achieve their full potential. They will work directly with the Executive Director of Imagine Sierra Leone and Imagine’s Head of Government Partnerships, to manage Imagine’s path to the national adoption of our edtech program in Sierra Leone.
The Director of Government Partnerships will take overall leadership and responsibility for engagements with government stakeholders nationwide adoption of our tablet learning program in Sierra Leone and the institutionalization of the program into the Ministry’s core education programming in the country.
