In This Role

In this role, you will support software validation for a confidential device initiative by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites across prototype devices, software builds, and release environments. You will work closely with engineering leaders, senior engineers, and project stakeholders to improve test coverage, investigate failures, document defects, and provide clear release-readiness insights. This position requires a hands-on engineer who can work independently, write and maintain automation, analyze test results, and support software quality throughout the development and release lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, performance, and release validation scenarios.
• Validate software across prototype devices, builds, test environments, and release pipelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering or software development experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in software testing, test automation, quality engineering, or software engineering in test.
• 1+ year of hands-on software automated testing experience.
• 3+ years of experience independently driving technical work and delivering value.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience writing code, debugging software issues, analyzing test failures, and providing actionable recommendations.

Salary Range 

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our QualityOS team within Forge MES (Manufacturing Execution System). As a Electrical Engineer, Edge Compute at Carbon Robotics be a key part of the team that designs and manages the distributed computing infrastructure that is the heart of our robots. You are responsible for the specification, design, vendor management, integration, and thermal/electrical management of the compute and network clusters. You’ll ensure our mobile platforms can survive the harsh vibrations, dust, and heat of the farm while maintaining peak processing performance. ABOUT THE JOB

RAIL has two primary customers:

• Mission Autonomy (MA) — Mission Autonomy at Anduril is responsible for coordinating mission-level behaviors by manipulating hardware. For example, “fly to these waypoints,” “enter radio silence mode,” or “arm munitions.”
• Robotics Business Lines — These teams own specific Anduril robots end-to-end, as well as individual pieces of hardware on those robots.

RAIL bridges the gap between Mission Autonomy and diverse sets of hardware by creating common hardware interfaces. To allow Anduril to effortlessly integrate with new hardware. RAIL enables Anduril to scale and deploy ambitious new robot designs on short timelines by leveraging learnings and investments from our existing portfolio of diverse hardware and products.

For example, Anduril procures autopilots from a multitude of different hardware vendors. Each autopilot has a subtly different hardware interface — some use MAVLINK, some use STANAG, others use bespoke vendor-specific serial interfaces. Despite having different interfaces, they all provide standard functionality that flies along a set of waypoints.

As an author of advanced mission behavior, I shouldn’t care whether my autopilot speaks MAVLINK or STANAG — I just want my vehicle to get flying. RAIL abstracts away these subtle hardware differences from Mission Autonomy by providing a shared, common interface as a layer between Mission Autonomy and low-level hardware integrations. Anduril’s Tactical Reconnaissance and Strike Division (TRS) is responsible for design and development of Anduril’s fleet of small warfighting and surveillance drones deployed around the world, including Ghost, Anvil, Altius, and Bolt. ABOUT THE JOB

As a Software Engineer on the Maritime Application Team, you will be the architect and builder of the software that our maritime operators use every day. You will design and implement the user interfaces, microservices, and data integrations that transform our autonomous underwater vehicles from powerful hardware into intelligent, mission-capable assets. This role requires a product-minded engineer who can operate with ambiguous requirements and translate complex operational needs into elegant, reliable, and scalable software solutions, bridging the gap between core platform infrastructure and real-world maritime challenges.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications and services for maritime command and control, including our Lattice UI.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Field Service Engineer – RUPS Systems will specialize in rotary UPS power system distribution builds, mechanical and generator integration, system integration, start-ups, and preventative maintenance programs. This role requires advanced technical expertise, mechanical aptitude, leadership skills, and hands-on field experience with both electrical control systems and rotating equipment such as generators and flywheels. Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to delivering high-performance power solutions in data centers, hospitals, industrial facilities, and utility-scale environments are essential.

This is not a typical UPS engineer or technician role. In fact, a strong background in traditional static UPS systems may not be advantageous for this position. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with mechanical systems, generators, and rotary equipment, and be comfortable commissioning complex power systems in the field. You will act as the front-line expert for bringing large-scale RUPS systems online, resolving technical issues, and training others. This role will also provide technical software and hardware troubleshooting support to the IEM customer base on-site throughout North America while performing start-ups, retrofits, or preventative maintenance. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional IEM teams to integrate current and new technologies, commission complex generator and RUPS systems, optimize existing power infrastructure, and ensure seamless operation across our power products as defined by the customer's RUPS design and sequence of operations (SOO). This role will serve as the point of contact for all field service personnel related to RUPS startup, generator support, preventative maintenance, 24-hour emergency response, and remote technical assistance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and perform on-site startup, commissioning, and preventative maintenance of RUPS systems, including generator integration, flywheel validation, and facility electrical infrastructure.
• Perform functional testing, load bank testing, system synchronization, and complete system validation to ensure all components meet performance specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues related to generators, flywheels, switchgear, control systems, fuel systems, and coupling assemblies.

• Follows a scientific step-by-step process to troubleshoot equipment issues. Captures data and troubleshooting steps concisely and accurately to facilitate effective communication to internal and external parties.
• Works directly with 3^rd party equipment vendors and customers to help resolve re-occurring issues with vendor equipment within IEM’s integrated RUPS systems.
• Perform functional tests, load tests, synchronization, and RUPS system validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues related to generators, flywheels, switchgear and related control systems.
• Interface with clients, contractors and internal IEM teams during commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Ensure all startup and commissioning documentation, test reports, onsite daily reports and required customer records are completed, submitted accurately and on time.
• Provide technical support and guidance during new installations and system upgrades.
• Train Field Service junior technicians on proper startup, commissioning procedures, troubleshooting protocols, preventative maintenance and how to operate the equipment safely. 
• Maintain compliance with all industry and company safety standards, company procedures and client specific safety protocols. 
• Communicate with Product Engineering and Design Teams with regards to important product bulletins that would affect service, software upgrades, product upgrades or maintenance factors.
• Travel to customer sites to lead commissioning activities with junior techs/engineers or complete commissioning independently.
• As required, travel to the manufacturing or field service offices of IEM to participate in or lead training exercises, and to participate in factory witness/shop testing.
• Assists with project start-up and resolving punch list items found at the jobsite.  Work with the customer site superintendents or project managers to update punch lists and ensure jobs are closed out correctly.
• Provide detailed field trip reports that list the issues found onsite to the IEM manufacturing facilities regarding whether quality control standards are upheld to project design criteria and product specifications.   Works with production, service and engineering teams to help resolve any deficiencies that are found.
• Work with the Field Service Leads in scheduling additional field resources and/or teams to cover service needs.
• Proven ability to manage complex power distribution projects, obtains great technical aptitude and has good communication skills.

Power System Integration:

• Lead and support field integration of new RUPS and generator technologies with existing infrastructure, ensuring system compatibility and optimal performance.

System Optimization:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

About the role

Anthropic’s mission requires the ability to defend our compute resources against all types of adversaries. • Dynamic root-of-trust and late-launch integration. Working with other security engineers to ensure Anthropic's host software stack securely leverages DRTM primitives, and work with silicon vendors and firmware maintainers to address gaps in relevant technologies.
• Interconnect topology validation. Build the tooling to validate interconnect topology claims for multi-node workloads and catch deviations before they reach production.
• CPU and interconnect encryption posture. Validate that CPU and interconnect encryption are enabled and attestable on a given system; own Anthropic's position on performance tradeoffs and multi-node attestation integration work.
• Debug-disable verification. Define automated mechanisms to prove hardware debug mechanisms are disabled in production.
• Ensure devices/peripherals are appropriately covered. Accelerators are an essential component of AI workloads. We must ensure that platform trust extends to all relevant components, and the channels between them, too.

This is an IC engineering role not a PM role. You will write code, own services, and be accountable for the correctness of Anthropic's platform trust pipeline in production. You'll operate at the interface between Platform Security Engineering and the rest of Anthropic.

Minimum qualifications

• Deep systems software engineering experience with kernel, firmware, or low-level platform code.
• Understanding of hardware as encountered in modern server platforms, and implications of trust relationships within.
