Buscamos incorporar un/a Líder Técnico para nuestro equipo de IT, encargandose principalmente de liderar proyectos de desarrollo para las áreas de BTG Pactual Chile.
Principales Funciones:
- Tomar decisiones técnicas sobre arquitectura, tecnologías y lógica de desarrollo asegurando la creación de una solución segura, de calidad, robusta, escalable, entendible y mantenible.
- Guiar y mentorizar a los desarrolladores estableciendo estándares de codificación que incorporen las mejores prácticas de desarrollo y que garanticen un proceso de desarrollo eficiente.
- Desarrollar al equipo retroalimentando constante y constructivamente, buscando desarrollar y potenciar las habilidades del equipo, y fomentando el pensamiento crítico en el grupo.
- Empoderarte de los sistemas comprendiendo a cabalidad tanto los sistemas como los procesos de negocio que soportan, para hacerlos crecer y evolucionar según las demandas del negocio.
- Gestionar, delegar y coordinar con el equipo y otros departamentos asegurando que se cumplan los requisitos y alineándose con los objetivos del negocio.
- Resolver problemas desarrollando requisitos específicamente complejos y/o destrabando problemas técnicos del equipo.
- Colaborar multidisciplinariamente al trabajar estrechamente con un equipo diverso y talentoso, que incluye usuarios, líderes de negocio, programadores, jefes de proyecto, equipo infraestructura, ciberseguridad, etc, para llevar a cabo proyectos innovadores.
- Investigar continuamente manteniendo a BTG Pactual a la vanguardia, evaluando nuevas tecnologías y servicios, y explorando innovaciones que puedan beneficiar a la organización
Requisitos Técnicos:
- Carrera: Ingeniería Civil en Computación, Ingeniería Informática o afines.
- Desarrollo de software: Conocimientos sólidos de programación como también de paradigmas, buenas prácticas y múltiples lenguajes de programación. Front-end: dominio de framework React, JavaScript. Back-end: dominio de Node.Js, Python, framework .Net (deseable), C# (deseable)
- Bases de Datos: Dominio y experiencia en Oracle y SQL Server
- Herramientas de integración: Manejo de herramientas y procesos de integración de sistemas: Servicios (API Rest, WS, etc.) y ETL’s (Pentaho, DTS, otras)
- Herramientas de control de versiones: Github
- Integración Continua: Experiencia y conocimiento de herramientas como, Github Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps
- Sistemas Operativos: Windows, Linux
- Conocimientos Cloud: Experiencia y conocimientos en desarrollo de soluciones cloud (AWS), S3, contenedores Docker, Kubernetes y otras herramientas.
- Experiencia: 5-10 años de experiencia en desarrollo de software y al menos 1 como tech lead.
- Deseable: conocimiento en la industria financiera e inversiones.
Requisitos no técnicos
- Trabajo en equipo: Habilidad para coordinar equipos de trabajo y colaborar con otros de manera efectiva.
- Liderazgo: Habilidad para gestionar personas, desarrollar, inspirar y motivar a los demás.
- Habilidades de comunicación: Excelentes habilidades de comunicación para evangelizar y transmitir conceptos complejos de manera clara al equipo de desarrollo y usuarios. Crear confianza y buen ambiente laboral en el equipo.
- Buenas prácticas de desarrollo: Habilidad para establecer e implementar buenas prácticas desarrollo, como clean code, desarrollo iterativo, revisión de código, etc

We are seeking an experienced and talented Staff Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role involves integrating a recently acquired background check product into the Checkr ecosystem and developing it into a solid foundation for a comprehensive identity verification solution.
The Staff Software Engineer will oversee the near-term integration of newly acquired background check solutions into Checkr. Responsibilities include working on data vendor integrations and developing the system into a long-term identity verification platform. The current background check solution includes multiple public APIs, public and internal portals, and numerous microservices.
What you’ll do
- Own the product development from ideation, design, implementation, to release
- Collaborate with other engineers and product manager on designing and architecting new systems
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
- Deliver performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code
What you bring
- Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).
- Availability to work a hybrid schedule in Santiago, Chile (3 days per week in-office).
- 10+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, and significant experience working with Python
- Leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring more junior engineers
- Experience with running Scrum rituals (sprint planning, daily standup, sprint review and retrospective)
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- A strong understanding of microservice architecture infrastructure, inclusive of familiarity with Kubernetes
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience working with data stores such as Postgres, MongoDB
- Experience with Git, GitLab or Github and PR/MR review process
- A passion for optimizing services for scale and speed
- A great desire to learn, collaborate, improve, and innovate
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes
