What you’ll do:

• Own the development, documentation, and improvement of the airframe loads development process
• Collaborate with teams that interface with loads (aerodynamics, airframe, engine, mass properties, mechanical systems, propeller, etc.)
• Responsible for providing static and fatigue loads that are directly consumable by all downstream users (airframe, engine, mechanical systems, propeller, etc.)
• Responsible for providing clear documentation of loads assumptions and methods to generate traceable and repeatable analyses.
• Support wind tunnel and flight test planning and execution in the areas of external airframe loads, propeller loads, aeroelasticity, and aeromechanics, including test plan development, instrumentation and data acquisition definition, test monitoring and execution, data analysis and interpretation, and test report writing.

What you need:

• 5+ years of experience developing processes for loads analysis and downselection for air vehicles 

• Working knowledge of structural analysis and test, including a fundamental understanding of strength, stability and fatigue failure mechanisms

About the role

Muon seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our Information Systems team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and versatile software engineer with a strong desire to develop mission-critical internal software and platforms with the primary goal to reduce manual and repetitive tasks. The Information Systems team owns the comprehensive suite of custom software, vendor software, data platforms and automated tools that will enable various teams to work more rapidly, our factories to build efficiently, and our launch teams to operate flawlessly.

Salary

The salary range for this role is $185,000 - $215,000, plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process. 

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain models for electric motors, inverters, thermal management systems, gearboxes, and power distribution systems.
• Create integrated multi-physics models coupling electrical, thermal, mechanical, and controls domains.
• Use analysis to inform design decisions and optimize overall propulsion system performance. Lead trade studies evaluating design alternatives to determine optimal thermal solutions.

About The Team

At Archer’s Production Realization Lab, we build the electromechanical infrastructure that makes flight possible. From megawatt-scale dynamometers, complex electrical test stands to bespoke mechanical test equipment from concept to reality.

We are seeking a Staff Equipment Design Engineer to focus on the end-to-end design of specialized hardware for testing aircraft structural integrity and propulsion components. We are looking for a top-tier Enterprise Cloud Security Engineer to design and secure the cloud infrastructure supporting the next phase of sustainable air mobility. You are a collaborative, hands-on professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to see the big picture. • Threat Detection & Incident Response: Build high-fidelity detection rules for cloud threats using SIEM/SOAR platforms. Lead investigations into cloud security incidents and perform forensics on ephemeral workloads.
• Telemetry & Data Protection: safeguard critical flight telemetry and sensitive data pipelines through robust encryption, key management (KMS/HSM), and data loss prevention (DLP) strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 3 years focused on public cloud (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
• Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
• Coding/Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automating security tasks and building custom tooling.
• Security Tooling: Experience implementing and tuning CSPM/CNAPP tools (e.g., Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Orca, Sysdig) and SIEM platforms (Tenex, Splunk, Datadog Security).

What You’ll Do:

• Design a wide array of structural components and integration of flight-critical electromechanical actuation systems from concept through experimental  flight testing

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to specialize in aviation data and analytics, focusing on two critical areas: scalable and efficient processing of flight test data for rapid design iteration and near-real-time analysis of aircraft health data for predictive maintenance. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience owning complex mechanical modules from concept through production. Responsibilities:

We are seeking a SAP Security & Platform Systems Engineer. This specialized role is responsible for the secure architecture and technical integration of our SAP S/4HANA RISE environment. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between traditional SAP Security and modern Cloud Platform administration, ensuring robust, compliant, and well-connected SAP systems.

What You'll Do:

• SAP Security & Access Governance

What You'll Need:

As a Design Engineer - Avionics Integration, you will work on aircraft-level avionics systems integration within the Advanced Projects group. We are a small but diverse group of multi-disciplinary engineers responsible for the rapid development of future Archer aircraft concepts, taking them from idea to experimental flight testing on aggressive accelerated timelines. In this role, you will play a critical role in integrating and optimizing the avionics systems packaging throughout Archer’s future hybrid-electric aircraft platform.

What You’ll Do: 

As a BMS Electrical Engineer, you will own hardware designs for Archer’s high voltage battery management system. 

• Lead design of BMS PCBAs, through their full lifecycle - including circuit simulation, schematic capture, layout, routing, reviews, manufacturing, and revisions.
• Work closely with mechanical and software teams, from the beginning of the design process, to ensure that our BMS hardware seamlessly integrates into the battery pack.
• Design circuits for diagnostic coverage, redundancy, and fault-tolerance - working closely with systems and safety teams to ensure that our BMS hardware meets safety goals.
• Own PCBA bring-up and verification, working hands-on with lab equipment to check that the design functions across all operating conditions and fault injection cases.
