About Bridge
We’re creating an entirely new payments platform, built with stablecoins, to simplify global money movement. Bridge enables faster, cheaper payments and borderless access to dollars via stablecoins. Through our APIs, businesses can send and receive funds across borders faster / cheaper vs. SWIFT and other fiat-only rails. Our virtual accounts enable international consumers and businesses to easily access, store and spend US dollars. Our payouts infrastructure enables platforms to disburse USD to anyone globally. We believe many trillions of dollars will move and settle through stablecoin payment rails. Bridge is pulling this future forward.
We have a small team of people who have previously built financial infrastructure at some of the world’s leading companies (Coinbase, Stripe, Square, Brex, Upstart, DoorDash, Airbnb) and each and every one of them chose Bridge because they fundamentally believe that stablecoins will be a critical piece of financial infrastructure that allows for the improvement of global money movement.
About the Role
As an early member of the Bridge engineering team, you will be given the autonomy to work on projects that are truly global in scale and aim to give customers access to products they've never had access to. Many of the use cases that we work on today didn't exist several months ago and that's because our team is dedicated to constant improvement for our partners and end users. Our Engineers have outsized ownership over projects so if you are looking for increased autonomy working on a completely greenfield opportunity, Bridge is the place for you.
Responsibilities
Ship software to build out our suite of API products. We’re an engineering and API-first company, and you will learn first-hand and contribute towards building highly reliable, performant, and mission critical infrastructure serving thousands of developers across the globe.
Take sole ownership of projects, oftentimes without the support of Product Management, and liaise both internally with teams like Legal/Compliance and externally with our partners and developers.
Look for constant improvements to our product offerings with the explicit goal of improving the experience for our partners and end users.
Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.
Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes for the team and our broader org.
Qualifications
We are open to hiring engineers at various levels of seniority (SWE through Senior Staff) but at a minimum we are looking for somebody with 5+ years of experience.
Experience building backend systems with SQL databases. Experience with frameworks such as Rails, Django, Express or equivalent is a bonus.
An enlarged sense of ownership and the ability to lead and influence the design and direction of our products.
An ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
A growth mindset and a constant curiosity and fearlessness to dive into the unknown.
An ability to write maintainable, well-tested, modular code, but also be pragmatic about moving fast.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear technical documentation.
Past experience working on crypto or financial products a plus, and while not required, we do look for people who are very passionate about building in this space.
Experience with building API products a plus, but not required.
Experience working with blockchain or distributed systems a big plus

The Application Team (App)- They build the operating system for AI-driven science. Their platform unifies Machine Learning, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Software into one AI-native experience — where a scientist can go from hypothesis to experiment to result in a single conversation. They ship the agents, the integrations, and the interfaces that make that possible.
The Scientific System of Record Team (SSR) - They build the memory layer for Lila's operations. It answers two questions:what did we plan to build? and what actually happened? These systems connect scientific intent to physical reality. Together with the data and automation teams, their systems ensure reproducibility and close the Design-Build-Test-Learn (DBTL) loop.
The Lab as Software Team (LaS)- They act as the physical and virtual execution layer for Lila's AI-driven science. This connects the Lila App to AI Science Factories (AISFs), the mechanism through which experiments are dispatched to real instruments. The Data Platform Team (Data)- They build and support the data systems that underpins Lila's AI Science Factory™. Every experiment run in our labs, every measurement from an instrument, and every signal from our operational systems flows through the platform they build. Their work spans real-time ingestion, large-scale analytical storage, workflow orchestration, and the self-service tools scientists, engineers, and ML teams use to go from raw measurements to discoveries. They build the data backbone of Scientific Superintelligence™, so the science moves faster and each experiment makes the next one smarter.

Apply to InstaworkBacked by leading Silicon Valley investors, Peregrine helps public safety organizations, state and local and governments, federal agencies, and private-sector institutions address society’s challenges with unprecedented speed and accuracy. Our AI-enabled platform turns siloed and disconnected data into operational intelligence — instantly surfacing mission-critical information to empower better, faster decisions that improve outcomes at every touchpoint. Today Peregrine supports hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, serving more than 125 million people — and we’re amplifying our impact as we expand into the enterprise and internationally.
We're scaling from 50 to 120+ engineers over the next year. That kind of growth breaks things: builds slow down, onboarding stalls, deployments get fragile. The Developer Experience team prevents that.
We treat our internal developers as customers, measure their pain points, and ship tools that make the entire engineering organization faster. This is a small, high-leverage team of 2-3 engineers with outsized impact on how Peregrine builds software.
As Tech Lead Manager for Developer Experience, you'll lead the team responsible for engineering tooling, velocity, observability, and monitoring. Your team's work compounds: every improvement multiplies across 100+ engineers.
This is hands-on leadership. You'll set technical direction, build and grow a small team of senior engineers, and partner across engineering to solve the highest-impact developer productivity problems. You'll define how we measure engineering effectiveness and use that data to drive investment decisions.
You will:
Our stack is constantly evolving but based on a backend foundation of Python, Django, Celery, Airflow, and Kafka; a frontend built in React, Redux, and Mapbox; data stores including PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch; machine learning models hosted in Bedrock and Sagemaker; and with AWS, Pulumi, Terraform, and Kubernetes as our underlying infrastructure.
Bonus
Salary Range: $220,000 - $275,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, certifications or licenses, and specific work location. Information on the benefits offered is here.
