You'll be on the team responsible for...

• Developing and supporting the MongoDB Python drivers and subsidiary libraries (PyMongo, Django MongoDB Backend, PyMongoArrow, LangChain MongoDB) and related software, collaborating with peers in our distributed world-wide engineering team
• Writing and maintaining open source specifications defining common behavior and APIs shared across all of our drivers
• Investigating bugs and support requests from commercial customers, open source users, and internal users for the libraries our team maintains
• Working with our Product and Server teams on designs and specifications for new user-facing MongoDB features

Success in this role means...

• Within one month, you will understand the high-level architecture of the drivers and how MongoDB works, and will have completed a few small bug fixes and/or feature tickets
• Within three months, you will be contributing effectively day-to-day, fixing bugs, implementing features, investigating and responding to open source user and customer issues, and reviewing your peers' code

Software Engineer (Full Stack), San Francisco Hybrid

FT Partners is looking for a skilled Software Engineer who is knowledgeable in building high quality impactful applications and well versed in AI development methodologies. We are looking for people who can produce stable features without racking up technical debts, and can help organize, consolidate, and strengthen our suite of software for sustained impact.

The software to which you will contribute is FT Base, an internal project management and data application suite, built in Python, Django (DRF), Typescript, React, PostgreSQL. About the Role

As a Software Engineer on Proactive Insights, you'll build the features that transform how teams stay on top of their data. You'll collaborate closely with Product and Design to shape what proactive analytics looks like, and with our AI Engine team to leverage shared infrastructure for orchestration, evaluation, and observability.

This is a high-impact role on a small, fast-moving team where your work will define a new product category for Mixpanel.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered features end-to-end, from agent logic and query orchestration to frontend visualization and delivery
• Design and implement user experiences for surfacing automated insights: dashboards, notifications, digests, and interactive analysis flows
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define what proactive analytics looks like and how users interact with AI-generated insights
• Partner with the AI Engine team to integrate shared tooling for agent orchestration, evaluation, and observability

About the Team

The Proactive Insights team is a newly formed team at the center of Mixpanel's AI-first analytics vision. With a greenfield charter, we're building the intelligent layer that transforms Mixpanel from a tool you query into a partner that works for you.

We answer the question every data-driven team asks: "What changed, why, and what should I do about it?" We proactively keep users informed about what matters in their data, delivering the right insights and recommendations at the right time, to the right places, both inside and outside of Mixpanel.

Some examples of what we are building:

• AI-powered root cause analysis: intelligent agents that diagnose why metrics changed, identify contributing factors, and recommend what to do next

About the Role

As a Software Engineer on Proactive Insights, you'll build the features that transform how teams stay on top of their data. You'll work across the full stack, from React frontend experiences to Python backend services to integrating with our query engine, to ship workflows that surface insights users didn't know to ask for. You'll collaborate closely with Product and Design to shape what proactive analytics looks like, and with our AI Engine team to leverage shared infrastructure for orchestration, evaluation, and observability.

This is a high-impact role on a small, fast-moving team where your work will define a new product category for Mixpanel.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered features end-to-end, from agent logic and query orchestration to frontend visualization and delivery

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. In this role, you will help design and develop cloud-based services and modern web applications that power the next generation of Heartflow technologies, including a new orchestration pipeline, which will drive critical workflows across the company.

You will work cross-functionally with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, Usability Designers, Process Engineers, and Regulatory to create impactful internal applications and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

The Role & Your Mission

We’re looking for a Staff Backend Engineer, reporting directly to the Backend Engineering Manager, that can navigate between data, AI, and backend systems. Stability, performance, and reliability of the AI system are the core responsibilities. You will be asked to develop novel solutions to customer problems, characterize the results, and deliver the solutions into production. You’ll be successful in this role if you can go from idea, to experiment, to testing, to production without getting lost or stuck at one of the steps. We care more about solving problems than using the latest buzz. We prefer simple, well-tested, stable solutions that are dependable, yet impressive.

What You'll Own

• Understanding customer problems and translating that into simple solutions
• Working with Product and Design to quickly find solutions
• Writing performant, simple code. We run Django + Python + Postgres + Redis.
• Managing ongoing conceptual and technical complexity while delivering value on Product projects

What You’ll Bring

• Has worked at an early-stage, product-based startup before (<50 people)
• 8 years of experience or more of Django in a production environment
• Used of LLMs in production
• Directly interacting with LLMs without abstraction libraries
• Humble, hungry, and smart
• Able to move quickly on tasks while producing high-quality results
• Pragmatic, analytical thinker. Efficient decision maker

• Bonus: Worked on a product in a regulated domain or where data privacy + security were essential
• BS in Computer Science or similar field preferred
