Position Overview:

As a member of our Technical Support Team, the Technical Support Engineer IV (TSE IV) plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of robots deployed in diverse, real-world environments.  This role demands expertise in both software and hardware systems and involves proactive monitoring and sophisticated data analysis using cloud-based platforms.  

The TSE IV is responsible for identifying and resolving complex technical issues, spearheading advanced troubleshooting initiatives and implementing strategic solutions that enhance customer operations. This position also serves as the primary liaison between our customers and our engineering teams, advocating for customer needs and influencing the direction of product development. The TSE IV is expected to mentor junior engineers, lead critical projects and contribute to the strategic planning and execution of the Tech Support team’s goals.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Responsible for supporting the hardware and software aspects of Brain Corp’s fleet of robots
• Proactively monitor deployed fleet of robots remotely using internal tools to identify and solve issues effectively
• Conduct independent technical troubleshooting on customer-reported issues and implement effective resolutions
• Develop and expand comprehensive expertise in Brain Corp’s robotic systems, encompassing hardware, software, navigation kits, sub-system and cloud infrastructure. Utilize this knowledge to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both direct customers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), adept at understanding their needs and resolving any issues they encounter in a timely and efficient manner
• Lead customer meetings and discussions
• Act as the primary liaison between our company and our end users
• Lead internal or external customer related initiatives addressing issues as they arise
• Collaborate closely with the Account Management team to address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by end users
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
• Coordinate meetings with service providers and OEMs:
• • Organize and lead regular meetings with service providers (SPs) and OEMs to discuss current issues, implement changes, and address any complaints
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all parties to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues promptly
  • Document meeting outcomes, track action items, and follow up to ensure timely resolution of all concerns
• Provide issue resolution and continuous improvement:
• • Take ownership of the resolution process for any issues reported by end users, SPs, or OEMs
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience
• Lead the quality resolution process, initiating from customer-reported symptoms, progressing through troubleshooting cycles to identify root causes effectively
• Provide training & enablement to OEM/customer when needed; providing on-site support within geographic region as needed
• Serve as an escalation point between Tech Support and Fleet Ops and Engineering teams
• Assist with the creation and monitoring of team metrics 
• Provide training and support to junior staff and mentor team members

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM related field 
• 6+ years of experience working with customers in a technical field or customer service role 
• Experience in leading projects that positively impact both the company and customers,   showcasing effective leadership and the ability to deliver favorable outcomes to all stakeholders

As a member of our Software Engineering team, the Software Engineer II, Data Engineering will play a key role in designing and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers the BrainOS platform. Position Summary

The Sr. Director will support R&D teams through the management of reporting and analytics, workforce and budget planning and oversight, and driving strategic and transformational projects.  S/he will assist with the creation and implementation of policies and procedures.  This role will serve as a key resource across all therapeutic areas and research phases and will be required to work closely with R&D teams and vendors. 

Primary Responsibilities

Reporting and Analytics

• Oversee and manage the Acadia Clinical Command Center, including implementation, oversight, continuous improvement, and change management.
• Develop mechanisms and reports to drive data quality.
• Support data governance activities in support of the Clinical Command Center.
• Primary interface with vendor counterparts around data and to support reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to integrate data sources into the Clinical Data Warehouse.
• Oversee and drive high levels of data quality across R&D.
• Implement operational KPIs and establish governance with the purpose of driving improvements in operational efficiency.
• Develop dashboards and reports appropriate to multiple layers of functional leadership to support analysis and drive decisions.
• Point of contact for ad hoc analyses to support business questions.

Workforce Planning and Management

• Develop resource demand algorithms for R&D functions and roles.
• Establish and maintain workforce data for both internal and external staff (e.g. headcount, Functional Service Providers, contractors).
• Lead resource algorithm governance committee.
• Lead R&D workforce management through the regular review of resources, risks, issues and opportunities with key stakeholders.
• Generate and maintain access to workforce forecast data.
• Drive, in partnership with P&P, reporting around R&D headcount resources.
• Support strategic planning and portfolio decision-making through workforce modeling.

Leadership and Change Management

• Lead transformational projects across the R&D organization, as assigned.
• Lead process changes, stakeholder readiness and communication strategy as required.
• Support Business Development integration activities, as needed.

Education/Experience/Skills

Bachelor’s degree in a life science or a related field.  Targeting 12 years of progressively responsible experience in R&D Operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.  An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead, Enterprise Master Data who will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the enterprise master data governance strategy across material, vendor, and customer domains. This role will own the vision, standards, and execution roadmap for master data to enable scalable operations across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial functions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve the master data governance strategy and multi-year roadmap across material, vendor, and customer domains
• Establish and govern customer master data aligned to order-to-cash processes (customer onboarding, pricing, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition), including ownership models and decision rights with Commercial and Finance
• Establish and enforce data standards, policies, and decision frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across PLM, ERP, CRM, and downstream systems
• Serve as the authority for material, vendor, and customer master data, driving cross-functional alignment and leading governance forums to resolve ownership and prioritization decisions
• Drive a single source of truth strategy across systems and business processes
• Own and optimize master data lifecycle and data quality (creation through archival, KPIs, and enterprise-wide remediation)
• Ensure compliance with GDP, SOPs, and ISO standards (ISO 27001, 9001, 13485), supporting audit readiness and regulatory requirements
• Standardize customer master attributes (sales channel, payment terms, VAT/EORI, Incoterms, hierarchies, and account structures) to enable accurate order processing, invoicing, and reporting
• Partner with business and IT leaders to support system implementations, integrations, and transformations, ensuring master data requirements are defined and met
• Drive master data readiness to enable product launches and business scale, while advising leadership on data risks, trade-offs, and investments

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field with 8+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Business Systems (biotech, pharma, or medical device experience preferred)
• Strong working knowledge in master data domains and data architecture (material, vendor, customer master; strong understanding of interactions with transactional data across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and manufacturing processes)
• Experience designing and operating governance and change management processes (data governance frameworks, controlled data changes, impact assessment, change control in regulated/GxP environments)
• Strong systems and data proficiency (ERP, CRM, PLM integrations; SQL, Snowflake, or similar querying tools; Excel and BI/reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI)
• Proven ability to lead through influence (cross-functional alignment across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Commercial, and IT; ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders)
• Strong analytical and execution skills in a fast-paced environment (root cause analysis, process improvement, high attention to detail)

Additional Information:
The base pay range for this position is $20/hour. The salary range for performing this role outside of the US / Austin / California may differ.  8am is committed to offering competitive, fair and commensurate compensation and has provided an estimated pay range for this role.
