This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Bringing designs to life on all kinds of different devices in a multi-disciplinary team, like designers, product owners and back-enders; from a 27-inch desktop screen to a smartphone with a screen width of 320px;
• Work with HTML, SASS / Tailwind CSS, Typescript, React, Next.js, Rest API’s, Server Components, and more;
• Learn all the ins and outs of working within a digital agency, whether that is through team knowledge sharing or by taking on a cool feature;
• Work as a full-fledged and indispensable member of a project team for A-list clients such as Artis, Gall & Gall, and Inter Milan.

• Have a portfolio / GitHub that we would like to receive with your application.
• Know what A11y means, and are eager to learn more about it.
• Know how to implement semantic HTML.
• Have experience with JavaScript and basic Typescript.
• Have experience with React 
• Pre: experience with next.js
• Pre: experience with other frameworks like Vue or Svelte.
• Pre: experience with Tailwind CSS
• Know what the difference is between Server Side Rendering (SSR) and Client Side Rendering (CSR).

Hard Requirements

• A GitHub with public repositories, or/and an online portfolio.
• You are enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Availability of 5 days per week (40 hours), from September 2026 for a duration of 5 months.
• You’re confident in English, whether you’re writing, presenting, or just chatting with the team.
• We offer a flexible hybrid work model. Here’s how it will work for your internship:
• Onboarding Period: To set you up for success and help you integrate with the team, we require you to work from the office daily at the start of your internship.
• Flexible Schedule: After the onboarding period, you will have the flexibility to create your own hybrid schedule.
• Team Standard: You can choose to work from home up to 3 days per week. As a team, we all aim to be in the office at least 2 days each week to collaborate and stay connected.

Overview

 As an AEC, Infrastructure, and GIS subject matter expert, you’re a natural at identifying the right analysis tools for the problem at hand. Not only do you create innovative solutions, but you also talk about solutions in ways that get others excited about the power of GIS technology. Join an account team and advise customers on their most complex business challenges. Leverage your problem-solving skills to demonstrate the value of GIS and how it finds unique patterns, trends, and understanding

Responsibilities

• Build relationships. Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions as part of the account team. Gain access to technical enterprise-level decision makers and lead technical meetings that drive revenue.
• Be an expert. Be a technical leader of Esri technology as well as a subject matter expert of the AEC and Utilities industry. Demonstrate your advanced understanding of sales strategies and initiatives to develop complex solutions for Esri’s most strategic customers. Understand an organization’s business structure, associated workflows, third party business systems, and integration points. Share knowledge and coach new team members on best practices.
• Solve problems. Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to our customers by addressing the critical challenges they face. Define and deliver complex strategies that align Esri technology with our largest customers’ business needs.
• Tell our story. Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences within Esri’s largest customers. Provide configuration guidance and best practices. Present at large conferences and executive engagements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
• 3+ years of experience in AEC or Utilities across the Europe region
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context (such as hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing)
• Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design
• Understanding of sales and business development processes
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments (Microsoft Azure or AWS)
• Experience integrating software solutions with other business systems including data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms
• Programming and scripting experience with languages such as Python and JavaScript,
• Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
• Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience incorporating real-time information streams with existing GIS data and IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of digitalization strategies that include mobile, IoT, advanced analytics and data science (AI/ML), and imagery
• Thought or technical leadership experience in AEC or Environmental Consulting
• Master's degree in geography, computer science, or a related field
• Experience with advanced ArcGIS Models such as linear referencing, utility network, parcel fabric, or imagery and reality mapping
