We’re hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at our rental facility in Jerome, ID, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, provide maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts and help us build the future of construction. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest fleet in the industry.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided)
As a Field Technician, you’ll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. With real-time information at your fingertips, you can determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly, enabling you to work smarter, not harder.
Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment
Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
Year-round company provided OEM training
Other duties, assigned as needed

We’re looking for people who:
Must own tools applicable to position
Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen

Geotab is seeking a Field Services Coordinator who will support operations across multiple European markets. As a Field Services Coordinator, your key area of responsibility will be managing complex service operations across borders and cultures. You will need to work closely with field technicians, customers, and internal teams like Logistics, Sales, and Customer Success, as well as communicate with third-party service partners.
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organized professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple timelines to ensure timely results. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical skills with an ability to identify process improvements, increase efficiency, and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
Coordinate and schedule field service activities (installations, maintenance, rip and replace) across assigned market(s).
Act as the primary point of contact between field technicians, customers, and internal teams.
Manage service requests, work orders, and ensure timely completion of field operations.
Track and report on service KPIs, SLAs, and field performance metrics.
Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
Collaborate with other teams (logistics, sales, training, customer success) to ensure a smooth and successful customer experience.
Support coordination of third-party service partners and subcontractors.
Identify process improvements to increase field service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Escalate technical issues to engineering or product teams as needed.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
2+ years of experience in field service coordination, logistics, operations, or a related technical coordination role.
Experience in telematics, fleet management, automotive, IoT, or a related technology sector is a strong asset.
Post-secondary education in a technical, logistics, or business-related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and hardware installation processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and installation guides.
Proficiency with service management platforms.
Comfortable using data and reporting tools to track service performance.
Comfortable integrating AI usage in the daily duties.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills — ability to manage multiple priorities across different markets and time zones.
Strong communication skills — able to coordinate effectively with diverse, cross-functional, and multicultural teams.
Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Customer-centric approach with a strong sense of accountability.
This position is location-flexible within Europe. Candidates will not necessarily be based in the country they support.

Working at the crossroads of Underwriting, Pricing, Claims, Distribution, Product, Reinsurance, and Compliance, the team supports Wakam’s broker, MGA, and platform partnerships with strong technical underwriting expertise and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
As a Senior Motor Fleet Underwriter (12 months fixed-term), you will take ownership of Wakam’s European commercial motor fleet portfolio, driving underwriting performance, strengthening broker and MGA relationships, and contributing to product and market strategy across several jurisdictions.
You will act as a technical authority on fleet underwriting, combining risk selection, pricing discipline, market insight, and portfolio steering to ensure profitable and sustainable growth. This role requires both hands-on underwriting expertise and the ability to influence underwriting frameworks, appetite, and governance.
You will underwrite new business and renewals across commercial motor fleet segments, including PHV/taxi, delivery, leasing fleets, and other types of fleets. You will assess risk quality using exposure data, loss history, fleet management practices, driver profiles, and sector information, and apply technical pricing models and rating tools to determine adequate premiums.
You will negotiate terms with brokers and MGAs to achieve balanced outcomes on price, coverage, and conditions, while applying underwriting authority appropriately and escalating referrals when needed. You will also manage quotes, binders, endorsements, and monitor in-force accounts for mid-term changes, fleet movements, and deterioration in claims performance.
