The team you will join designs, develops, and deploys innovative enterprise technology and AI-driven tools to support the delivery of tax services. What You’ll Do
- Define and enforce best practices and coding standards across the project
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to established guidelines and maintain high code quality
- Working both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team
- Communicating clear instructions to team members and helping manage the flow of day-to-day operations
- Communicating with the client regularly
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Spark applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
- Optimize code for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data handling
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of applications
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and workflows
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development
- Extensive experience working with Apache Spark, including platforms such as Databricks and/or Azure Synapse/Fabric
- Proficient in Python, with strong skills in data manipulation using Pandas/Polars and similar
- Solid understanding of columnar data storage formats, particularly Parquet, with practical experience using Delta Tables
- Proven expertise in data processing, analysis, and transformation workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset
- Practical and pragmatic approach to balancing standardized processes with flexibility to meet project goals effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, structure workload, and meet tight deadlines
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in scalable systems
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Azure Cloud services (or other major cloud platforms), including a range of SaaS offerings such as Service Bus, Data Lake, Blob Storage, Redis, and more

Your mission
As a Go Developer at Bitpanda Enterprise, you’ll join the Core Platform team; the backbone that keeps everything fast, reliable, and scalable. You’ll take real ownership of internal APIs and core services, shaping how systems perform at scale. What you’ll do:
- Design and build high-performance, scalable, message-driven services in Golang; built to handle real-world load.
- Write clean, production-grade code with serious test coverage.

Who you are:
- A well seasoned senior engineer who has built enterprise grade systems that are in production; bonus points for high traffic B2C/White-label products.
- You've been using Golang for at least 2+ years and have a true passion to drive adoption across the industry.
- Comfortable working with both relational and NoSQL databases and a strong understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and when each makes sense
- Hands-on experience with event-driven systems and message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS
- Familiar with AWS (EKS, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager) and not intimidated by cloud-native environments

What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development
- Extensive experience working with Apache Spark, including platforms such as Databricks and/or Azure Synapse/Fabric
- Proficient in Python, with strong skills in data manipulation using Pandas/Polars and similar
- Solid understanding of columnar data storage formats, particularly Parquet, with practical experience using Delta Tables

Your mission
At Bitpanda, we're building a powerful system that handles prices and risk management for various types of investments like stocks, crypto, ETFs, metals, and fiat currencies. You’ll help add new assets to our platform, work with new exchanges, and create tools like price charts and systems for crypto products with leverage. This is a key role where you'll help us build the technology that makes trading and investing in different assets fast, reliable, and easy to use for everyone.
What you’ll do
- Drive core technical decisions that shape our architecture, engineering practices, and long-term team vision
- Build high-performance, scalable backend systems using Python that power Bitpanda’s core trading infrastructure
- Design and maintain clean, testable, and maintainable code across a robust microservice ecosystem

Who you are

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our mission-driven team. This role is ideal for experienced data engineers with a proven track record in architecting scalable data pipelines, leveraging cloud technologies, and contributing to high-impact cybersecurity solutions. You will be responsible for building high-performance ETL frameworks, optimizing data platforms, and contributing directly to the enhancement of our customers' threat detection, response, and remediation capabilities.
What you will be doing, your legacy:
You will be working directly with company Principal Engineers evaluating, scoping, proposing, and building features to fulfill business solution requirements to protect our customers. You will play a direct role in laying the technical foundation for a new product offering. Additionally, you will be working with Engineering and DevOps to deliver high-quality products and services while also working closely with security and IT professionals to ensure safe and secure best practices are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and Design Scalable Data Solutions: Design/develop/maintain Data lakehouse solutions (Iceberg/Delta Lake /Hudi) applying industry best practices and structuring / optimizing the data according to data access patterns.
- Data Pipeline Development: Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud technologies (Spark / pySpark / Glue, Kinesis Streams / Iceberg) to load the data into a Lakehouse for both efficient ML processing and UI reporting.
- Implement data models and data processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Snowflake) to ingest, transform, and load large datasets into Data Lakehouse techs (Apache Iceberg, Apache Delta Lake or Apache Hudi), ensuring high availability and reliability of data.
- Advanced Data Integration: Develop solutions that integrate multiple data sources into Snowflake or similar data warehouses to enable real-time analytics and reporting across dashboards.
- AI/ML Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-develop AI-driven features identifying patterns and anomalies in client data using AI/ML technologies (python).
- Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards and secure best practices (SOX, SOC 1/2), by implementing data governance frameworks, monitoring data pipelines, and optimizing cloud database architectures to protect sensitive information.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including analysts, engineers, and product managers, to understand their data needs, propose solutions, and drive data-driven decision-making by delivering actionable insights.

Qualifications:

- Strong experience with AWS (preferably) or Azure , particularly with Glue, EMR, S3, Lambda. Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse experience is a bonus.
- Proficiency in big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and Databricks for distributed data processing.
- Proficiency with Python libraries for data processing and ML (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Polars, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Hands-on experience in building real-time data processing and AI/ML-driven analytics solutions (SageMaker, Bedrock, NLP, Power BI).
- Ability to architect and manage data lakehouse solutions (Iceberg / Delta Lake / Hudi) or classic warehouse solutions (Redshift, Snowflake).
- Familiarity with compliance and audit requirements (SOX, SOC 1/2, GDPR) and implementing data governance and security frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker) and data orchestration platforms (Apache Airflow).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced data architecture principles (medallion architecture, materialized views, task scheduling).
