About the Role

As a Product Engineer Intern, you will contribute to real squads building products that millions of users rely on to shop, pay, and bank. This is not a traditional software engineering internship — you will be expected to develop across all five competency pillars of Tamara's Product Engineering career framework:

Impact & Scope — Individual tasks and learning-focused contributions within a squad

You will work on well-defined tasks and small features within a squad, paired with a mentor who provides clear requirements and established patterns. Your primary focus is learning how your work fits into the broader product and building the habits needed to operate as an independent contributor.

Technical Capabilities — Building foundational engineering skills

You will begin developing core programming competencies, learn to write clean code with guidance, and start becoming familiar with the codebase, tools, and development workflows used at Tamara. You are not expected to be an expert — you are expected to be curious, ask questions, and grow quickly.

Product Thinking — Understanding the "why" behind your work

You will learn how Tamara's business model works and gain an understanding of your team's domain. For every ticket you pick up, you'll be encouraged to understand the user story behind it — not just what to build, but why it matters to the customer.

Delivery & Execution — Owning your tasks end-to-end

You will take ownership of your assigned tasks — making sure they meet acceptance criteria, are code-reviewed, well-tested, and merged. When you hit a blocker or a gap in understanding, you'll proactively ask for help rather than stay stuck.

Developing Self & Team — Growing fast and contributing to the team

You will focus on continuously enhancing your technical skills while embracing new knowledge and learning opportunities. You'll collaborate effectively with your team, ask good questions, and contribute to process improvements — influencing collective growth from day one.

Your Expertise

• Currently undertaking a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and willingness to learn languages and frameworks used at Tamara (Java or Golang).
• Foundational understanding of databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

About the role

We’re looking for a fresh graduate or early-career AI Engineer on a builder track.

This role sits between software engineering and applied AI. You will build AI-powered features end-to-end: from turning a product problem into an AI approach, to building pipelines and evaluation, to shipping reliable services in production.

You’ll work with both classical ML and generative AI (LLMs, RAG, agents) where they make sense. With the rapid pace of AI, we care more about fundamentals than buzzwords. Use AI assistants to move faster, but always own correctness, privacy, safety, and user impact.

Your responsibilities

• Build AI products that ship
  • Design and implement AI-powered features and internal tools.
  • Integrate models into real systems (APIs, workflows, dashboards, and operational processes).
• Work with LLMs in a production-ready way
  • Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines: data sourcing, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, and prompt templates.
  • Build agent-style workflows when needed (tool use, guardrails, and deterministic fallbacks).
• Own evaluation and quality
  • Define what “good” means: success metrics, offline tests, and human-in-the-loop review.
  • Set up evaluations for quality, safety, latency, and cost.
• Make AI reliable and safe
  • Add observability: logging, tracing, and monitoring for quality regressions.
  • Implement privacy and security controls (PII handling, access control, redaction where needed).
  • Participate in incident response and postmortems when AI systems misbehave.
• Partner across teams
  • Work with product, data, design, and engineering stakeholders to translate messy problems into measurable solutions.

Your expertise (must have)

• Fresh graduate or < 1 year of relevant experience (internships and projects count).
• Solid programming fundamentals in Python (preferred) or another language used for backend services.
• Strong foundations in:
  • Software engineering basics (APIs, testing, reliability)
  • Data handling (SQL and/or dataframes)
  • ML/AI fundamentals (training vs. inference, evaluation, overfitting intuition)
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and/or RAG from projects (LangChain/LlamaIndex or similar patterns).
• Familiarity with model serving and deployment (REST/gRPC services, batch jobs, streaming consumers).
• Exposure to MLOps concepts (experiment tracking, model registry, monitoring).
• Familiarity with vector databases, search, or information retrieval.
• Understanding of responsible AI, privacy, and security (PII handling, access control, prompt injection awareness).

About the role

We’re looking for a fresh graduate or early-career Machine Learning Engineer on a builder track.

This role is for someone who wants to take ML from “cool idea” to “running in production”. You will work across data, modeling, and software engineering to build, deploy, and operate models that improve customer experience, reduce risk, and unlock operational efficiency.

With the advancement of AI, we care more about fundamentals than buzzwords. Use AI assistants to move faster, but always own correctness, safety, privacy, and performance.

Your responsibilities

• Build and ship ML systems

The Application Support Specialist will contribute to the successful and timely support and deployment of the TrakCare product by providing application knowledge in the functional areas of product support, requirements scoping, field design documentation and change request testing. The Applications Support Specialist will act as an ''expert'' product resource for our partners.

As Application Support Specialist, you must creative, motivated, and energetic problem-solvers. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading organizations in healthcare. This position will also encourage and prepare you to take on other growth opportunities within the organization.

A mentor will help you identify and develop your application skills, professional, and personal skills for a successful career. Depending on your level of experience the training program can include: classroom learning, e-learning, projects, and external courses. Your mentor will also help you familiarize you with the InterSystems environment.

Responsibilities:
