Ce dont nous avons besoin :

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un·e artiste technique sénior·e spécialisé·e en animation technique et en gréage (rigging) de personnages pour guider le développement de systèmes de personnages expressifs et performants. Dans ce rôle, vous agirez à titre de responsable technique, aidant à définir les normes de nos flux de productions de personnages pour plusieurs titres. Vous servirez de pont entre l’animation, la conception artistique de personnages et l’ingénierie, en apportant la perspective technique et le mentorat nécessaires pour concevoir des outils évolutifs et de haute qualité pour nos équipes créatives.

Ce que vous ferez :

• Diriger la conception de gréages (rigs) de personnages complexes, en veillant à ce qu'ils respectent systématiquement des normes élevées en matière de fidélité visuelle et de performance en temps réel (runtime).
• Guider l'évolution des ensembles d'outils d'animation internes en identifiant les lacunes des flux de productions et en recommandant des solutions Python/C++ à fort impact.
• Mentorer et soutenir les artistes techniques de niveaux débutant et intermédiaire, en offrant des corrections techniques et en partageant les meilleures pratiques pour élever la qualité du travail de l'équipe.
• Superviser et maintenir les normes de gréage, les structures squelettiques et la logique de déformation pour assurer la cohérence entre les projets.
• Conseiller les partenaires de l'ingénierie sur les besoins concrets de l'équipe d'animation, en aidant à perfectionner les nœuds d'animation personnalisés et les systèmes en temps réel.
• Évaluer et piloter les technologies émergentes (p. ex. : déformation basée sur l'apprentissage automatique, physique avancée) pour déterminer leur viabilité au sein de notre flux de productions.

Ce qui fera de vous un bon candidat :

• Plus de 5 à 7 ans d'expérience professionnelle en animation technique ou en gréage (rigs) de personnages.
• Maîtrise approfondie de Python et de l'API de Maya.
• Vaste expérience avec les Animation Blueprints et le Control Rig d'Unreal Engine, particulièrement dans leur déploiement au sein d'une production d'envergure.
• Penchant naturel pour le leadership, avec une feuille de route éprouvée pour aider les autres à résoudre des obstacles techniques complexes.
• Solides bases en mathématiques (algèbre linéaire, trigonométrie) appliquées au dépannage et à l’optimisation des déformations de personnages 3D.

Atouts :

• Expérience avec les flux de productions de capture de mouvement (mocap) et conseils sur les flux de travail axés sur les données.
• Connaissance de Houdini pour les tâches procédurales, avec une vision de son intégration dans un flux de productions de personnages standard.
• Connaissances des solutions d'apprentissage automatique (ML) et d'intelligence artificielle (IA) et de leur intégration dans les flux de productions.
• Familiarité avec les outils de gréage procédural ou les flux de travail basés sur des nœuds.
• Connaissance de l'animation basée sur la physique, des cadavres articulés (ragdolls) ou des systèmes de cinématique inverse (IK) en temps réel.

What We Need

We’re seeking a Senior Technical Artist specializing in technical animation and character rigging to guide the development of expressive, performant character systems. In this role, you will act as a technical steward, helping to shape the standards for our character pipeline across multiple titles. You’ll serve as a bridge between animation, character art, and engineering, providing the technical perspective and mentorship necessary to build scalable, high-quality tools for our creative teams.

What you'll Do

• Lead the design of complex character rigs, ensuring they consistently meet high standards for visual fidelity and runtime performance.
  
  
• Guide the evolution of internal animation toolsets by identifying workflow gaps and recommending high-impact Python/C++ solutions.
  
  
• Mentor and support junior/mid-level technical artists, offering technical "course correction" and sharing best practices to elevate the team's output.
  
  
• Curate and maintain rigging standards, skeleton structures, and deformation logic to ensure consistency across projects.
  
  
• Advise Engineering partners on the practical needs of the animation team, helping to refine custom animation nodes and runtime systems.
  
  
• Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies (e.g., ML-based deformation, advanced physics) to determine their viability within our production pipeline.
  
  

What will make you a great fit

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in technical animation or character rigging (A "Senior" baseline without the "Principal" weight).
  
  
• Deep proficiency in Python and Maya API.
  
  
• Extensive experience with Unreal Engine’s Animation Blueprints and Control Rig, specifically in how they scale across a large production.
  
  
• Natural leadership inclination, with a proven track record of helping others solve complex technical hurdles.
  
  
• Strong mathematical foundation (Linear Algebra, Trigonometry) used to troubleshoot and optimize 3D character deformations.
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience with Motion Capture pipelines and advising on data-driven workflows.
  
  
• Familiarity with Houdini for procedural tasks, with an eye toward how it integrates into a standard character pipeline.

About the Role

We are seeking a AI Workflow Transformation Lead to join our team. The AI Workflow Transformation Lead partners directly with the CEO and executive team to map critical workflows end-to-end and reimagine them for the AI era.

This role owns a portfolio of high-impact transformation initiatives, leveraging tools like Claude, Glean, and internal AI capabilities to redesign how work gets done across the company. Leads a small, high-caliber team of AI Automation Specialists and acts as the connective tissue between strategy, operations, and technology.

What You’ll Do

• Map current workflows across key business areas (e.g., Sales, Customer Success, Implementations, Support, Product, Finance, People).
• Quantify baseline performance (cycle times, FTE effort, handoffs, error rates, customer experience impact).
• Redesign workflows that are AI-first, leveraging agents, automation, and integrations rather than simply digitizing existing processes.
• Build clear, visual process documentation and playbooks that can be adopted by teams.
• Identify, prioritize, and maintain a portfolio/backlog of AI workflow initiatives, balancing impact, feasibility, and risk.
• Lead discovery, experimentation, and pilot phases to validate new workflows quickly.
• Work closely with AI Automation Specialists to translate redesigned workflows into concrete solutions using tools like Claude, Glean, AlayaFlow, and other automation platforms.
• Define success metrics and ensure each initiative has a clear business case and measurable outcomes (e.g., time saved, revenue impact, quality improvements).
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to align on priorities, trade-offs, and sequencing of transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with leaders in Product, Engineering, Operations, Revenue, Customer Success, and Finance to ensure workflow changes are realistic, adopted, and sustained.
• Lead change management for new ways of working: training, communication, documentation, and reinforcement mechanisms.
• Present clear, concise updates and recommendations to senior leadership and, where appropriate, the Board.
• Lead, coach, and develop AI Automation Specialists, setting a high bar for quality, pace, and impact.
• Establish and continuously refine standards, templates, and best practices for workflow mapping, AI solution design, and measurement.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement around AI-enabled work.

What You Bring to the Team

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
• 3–8 years of experience in management consulting (e.g., BCG, Bain, McKinsey) or a similarly rigorous strategic/operational transformation role.
• Proven track record in process mapping, operating model design, or large-scale business transformation.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from diagnosis through implementation.
• AI native: Daily user of tools like Claude, Glean, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, etc.
• Comfortable designing and iterating prompts, workflows, and agent-based solutions.
• Strong intuition for where AI can create leverage vs. where traditional process or product changes are
• more appropriate.
• Excellent structured communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to distill complexity and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and data literacy; able to quantify impact, build business cases, and interpret operational data (spreadsheets, dashboards; SQL or similar a plus).
• Experience working in or with B2B SaaS organizations; interest in or exposure to healthcare/home care is a plus.
• • Experience implementing AI or automation solutions in real business workflows (e.g., agentic workflows, RPA, workflow orchestration platforms).
• Familiarity with API-based integrations, data platforms, and modern SaaS tooling.
• Prior experience in a scale-up environment or internal strategy/operations team. (an asset)
• Exposure to revenue operations, customer lifecycle optimization, or service delivery optimization (an asset)
• Bilingual in French and English (written & spoken)
