The Conversions Tech area enables meal brands to achieve ambitious growth targets through a seamless and high-performing conversion funnel. As a component of the Growth Alliance, this project drives growth for the HelloFresh group by powering marketing with advanced MarTech capabilities and product innovation. The focus is directed toward (re)acquisition, conversion optimization, and data-driven growth strategies.
You will work in a cross functional team in Conversions that builds and operates the backend systems powering customized user journeys across HelloFresh funnels. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, implement and operate scalable and fault tolerant services that enable personalization, experimentation and decisioning at scale. These systems sit behind high traffic landing pages and funnels and must be fast, reliable and resilient.
You will work closely with frontend engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers and product managers to bring personalization logic into production and ensure it performs well under real world traffic. Strong communication and problem solving skills are essential, as the role requires frequent collaboration across teams and clear ownership of complex technical problems. We are looking for engineers who can think in systems, operate autonomously and raise the bar for reliability and engineering quality.
