Job's Mission:
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at ASM, you will ensure the reliability and effectiveness of our software that drives cutting-edge semiconductor processing equipment. You’ll work on testing and qualifying software, streamlining QA processes to align with CI/CD development, and collaborating with talented global teams. Your contributions will directly impact the functionality and performance of advanced hardware in the semiconductor industry.
What you will be working on:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, document, and improve software test suites.
- Perform both manual and automated testing in simulation environments and on physical semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Execute and analyze the functionality of engineering designs compared to intended outcomes, providing valuable feedback.
- Automate, streamline, and maintain QA processes to integrate seamlessly with CI/CD development workflows.
- Develop and implement quality standards, methods, and procedures to enhance existing business processes.
- Work closely with Process Engineering teams to test systems, validate engineering designs, and identify quality improvements.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s + 5 years of experience, Master's +3 years OR PhD + 2 years of experience. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or C#.
- Experience with system quality assurance or engineering for complex electromechanical equipment with integrated software controls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

This role requires working from our downtown Toronto office 4 days/week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri). Candidates must be based within a 50-mile commuting distance of the office.
About the Role

What You'll Do
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will design, build, and ship automations — not just evaluate tools or write strategy decks.
- Turn complex Accounting and Finance problems into clear system designs, experiments, and implementation plans
- Build and maintain AI-powered automation that improves operational efficiency, accuracy, and scale across Finance functions
- Automate workflows (journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis) using SQL, Python, and agentic AI
- Maintain clean, auditable data throughout automated workflows, with dashboards and controls that support both operational and compliance needs
- Partner with the internal SOX team and external auditors to ensure automated processes meet compliance standards and are well-documented
- Build and scale AI literacy across the Finance team through runbooks, documentation, best practices, and hands-on training
What You'll Bring
- At least 5+ years of work experience building automation, operational workflows, or data systems in any industry.
- Familiarity with LLM deployment, context engineering and comfortable writing SQL or Python code
- Understanding of machine learning lifecycle concepts: training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring
Systems Thinking: You understand how data flows through operational systems. You can look at a business process, identify the inputs, outputs, dependencies, and failure modes, and design automation around it.
System Design: You take complex, messy problems and reduce them to simple, durable architecture.
Communication: Articulate problems clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You write clean documentation, build dashboards that tell a story, and can walk a stakeholder through your design rationale.
AI Alchemy: You have high agency and a tinkering mindset. You default to experimenting, running variations with new tools and methods - LLMs, automation platforms, coding assistants until you can transmute data into high quality results. You're comfortable writing SQL code, working with APIs, and stitching tools together to ship solutions fast.
Impact Driven: You optimize for impact over novelty, choosing the right tools for the job and ensure performance, scalability and resiliency.

Compensation
Our compensation plan consists of a base salary and Opendoor equity in addition to a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees. All compensation parameters are based on experience.

We are looking for a Property Coordinator to assist in directing and coordinating activities of on-site management. This person will assist in effectively implementing procedures, cost controls and policies, maintaining good tenant and client/owner relations, as well as assisting the Property Management team in maintaining invoice records and contacting vendors/setting up accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Answer management phones and assist with Tenant needs
- Respond to inquiries by providing routine information and or taking and delivering messages.
- Receive and distribute and review all purchase orders, track purchase orders in Workspace, alert personnel of any problems or unresolved purchase orders, run monthly reports.
- Coordinate special events such as holiday events/parties, welcome lunches, book fairs, blood drives, food drives etc.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and property staff directory.
- Monitor outside vendors for compliance of contracts and certificate of insurance
- Assist with preparing and administering service agreements
- Establish and maintain record keeping and filing systems; classifies, sorts and files correspondence for tenant files and other documents
- Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and reporting.
- Organize and code invoices in Workspace
- Assist Chief Engineer with update of electrical analysis worksheet as utility invoices come in
- Responsible for issuing Purchase Orders, tracking, and assigning the purchase orders to invoices as they are processed for payment
- Applying tenant rents and open credits
- Compiling and reviewing Tenant Billings and other misc. charges
- Provide management team with aged delinquency reports and send late letters
Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
- Must have a minimum high school education. Associates, B.A. or B.S. college degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years previous commercial property management experience
- Experience with MRI, Workspace and Yardi software
- Previous experience in real estate accounting and familiarity with monthly accounting cycle, including an understanding of A/P, A/R, commercial leases.
- Possess professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have access to reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Computer literate and proficient on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently
This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.

- Drives and owns top customer productivity issues (e.g., defect reduction, tool matching, tool availability, etc.) for products in the field across the product life cycle, from new product introduction through high volume manufacturing.
- Interaction with Hardware, Electrical, Controls, Product Support, Process, and Software engineering teams to become the system level expert on new products transferred to the field. Become an expert on the interaction of the products with the customer processes and resulting tool productivity.
- Provides guidance to engineering during the design phase of new products on key customer requirements and needs, including productivity specifications (e.g., defects, tool matching, throughput, etc.) and process best practices.
- Designs and conducts experiments, in addition to measuring and interpreting experimental output, aimed at fulfilling stated objectives using Design of Experiments (DOE) and Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
- Troubleshoots equipment problems and is personally and actively engaged in problem via “hands-on” modalities.
- Owns marathon qualification of new processes and products in the development lab, including data collection, analysis, and improvement plans. Works closely with Process, Product Support, and Hardware engineering teams providing real time feedback of marathon issues and recommended solutions.
- Ensure processes follow best known practices throughout the product life cycle, from before the first eval shipment through the HVM ramp. Share and proliferate new solutions across internal teams, including Process, Product Support, and Field Support engineering teams.
Education and Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree.
- Hands-on and/or course work experience with hardware.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to characterize processes and/or hardware using first principles and experimental design techniques (e.g., DOE, RSM).
- High motivation, enthusiasm and curiosity to learn.
- Interested in working with new products, testing them and becoming a system level expert.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to clearly communicate advanced technical constructs in direct and concise manner.
- Statistical analysis and script writing in Python, Matlab, or similar is a plus.
- Ability to travel (domestic and international) 25-50%

Your impact
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for improving equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability in an automated manufacturing environment. This role provides engineering ownership of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies for automated production systems, ensuring safe, stable, and cost-effective operation. The Maintenance Engineer partners closely with Manufacturing, Controls, and Maintenance teams to reduce downtime, extend asset life, and support production scaling.
What You'll Do:
Location: Onsite at our Phoenix, AZ Pinnacle office or our Mesa, AZ Skybridge facility.
Reports to: Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering - Assets Reliability
Direct Reports: N/A
- Ensure that automated manufacturing equipment is reliable. This includes robots, PLC-controlled machines, conveyors, vision systems, and material handling equipment.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures, downtime events, and chronic equipment issues.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to eliminate repeat failures and improve mean time between failures (MTBF).
- Design, optimize, and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance programs aligned with equipment criticality.
- Analyze maintenance data and downtime trends to refine maintenance intervals and task effectiveness.
- Use maintenance techniques based on conditions when appropriate. This includes methods such as vibration, thermal, and runtime-based techniques.
- Create and update maintenance procedures. Write troubleshooting guides. Keep equipment documentation current.
- Standardize maintenance practices across similar equipment and production lines.
- Support spare parts strategy, critical spares identification, and inventory optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Controls Engineers on PLC diagnostics, automation troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Assist Maintenance Technicians. Offer troubleshooting support, training, and technical advice.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to support new equipment launches and process changes.
Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction
- Drive reliability-focused continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, maintenance cost, and production risk.
- Support capital equipment evaluations with maintainability and lifecycle cost input.
- Track and report key metrics including downtime, MTTR, MTBF, maintenance cost, and equipment availability.
Operational Support
- Provide on-floor engineering support during critical downtime events and production ramp-ups.
- Participate in daily production, maintenance, and reliability meetings.
- Support off-shift or weekend activities during launches, major repairs, or critical issues as required.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or automation engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of automated equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, production-driven environments.

- Work with manufacturing sites and field to understand Non-Conformances details for communication and follow up to closure with suppliers.
- Candidate will develop manufacturing capabilities, drive FMEA, and implement Process Control Systems (PCS) at part supplier sites including the definition of measurement and metrology methods.
- Support the review of SPC data for critical parts and manage suppliers’ OCAP execution and recovery.
- Track supplier’s performance indicators against agreed-upon metrics and key performance indicators. Facilitate and drive suppliers to meet or exceed defined expectations.
- Conduct routine Surveillance and problem resolution audits to determine their compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Provide leadership during investigations of excursions and work with suppliers to provide comprehensive reports to fulfill ASM SCAR/8D requirements.
- Support conduct of failure analysis (FA) to determine the root cause of product failures and share findings with Engineering, Product Support and other internal and external teams
