Location

This role requires working from our downtown Toronto office 4 days/week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri). Candidates must be based within a 50-mile commuting distance of the office.

You will help define the future of how we work by building AI powered workflows, automation, and experiences that drive leverage across Finance — spanning month-end close, SEC Reporting, FP&A, Technical Accounting, Tax, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. What You'll Do

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will design, build, and ship automations — not just evaluate tools or write strategy decks.

• Turn complex Accounting and Finance problems into clear system designs, experiments, and implementation plans
• Build and maintain AI-powered automation that improves operational efficiency, accuracy, and scale across Finance functions
• Automate workflows (journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis) using SQL, Python, and agentic AI
• Maintain clean, auditable data throughout automated workflows, with dashboards and controls that support both operational and compliance needs
• Partner with the internal SOX team and external auditors to ensure automated processes meet compliance standards and are well-documented
• Build and scale AI literacy across the Finance team through runbooks, documentation, best practices, and hands-on training 

What You'll Bring

• At least 5+ years of work experience building automation, operational workflows, or data systems in any industry. 
• Familiarity with LLM deployment, context engineering and comfortable writing SQL or Python code
• Understanding of machine learning lifecycle concepts: training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring

Systems Thinking: You understand how data flows through operational systems. You can look at a business process, identify the inputs, outputs, dependencies, and failure modes, and design automation around it.

System Design: You take complex, messy problems and reduce them to simple, durable architecture. 

Communication: Articulate problems clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You write clean documentation, build dashboards that tell a story, and can walk a stakeholder through your design rationale.

AI Alchemy: You have high agency and a tinkering mindset. You default to experimenting, running variations with new tools and methods - LLMs, automation platforms, coding assistants until you can transmute data into high quality results. You're comfortable writing SQL code, working with APIs, and stitching tools together to ship solutions fast.

Impact Driven: You optimize for impact over novelty, choosing the right tools for the job and ensure performance, scalability and resiliency.

Tools and Technologies

Compensation

Our compensation plan consists of a base salary and Opendoor equity  in addition to a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.  All compensation parameters are based on experience.

We are looking for a Property Coordinator to assist in directing and coordinating activities of on-site management. This person will assist in effectively implementing procedures, cost controls and policies, maintaining good tenant and client/owner relations, as well as assisting the Property Management team in maintaining invoice records and contacting vendors/setting up accounts. 

Responsibilities: 

• Answer management phones and assist with Tenant needs 
• Respond to inquiries by providing routine information and or taking and delivering messages. 
• Receive and distribute and review all purchase orders, track purchase orders in Workspace, alert personnel of any problems or unresolved purchase orders, run monthly reports. 
• Coordinate special events such as holiday events/parties, welcome lunches, book fairs, blood drives, food drives etc. 
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and property staff directory. 
• Monitor outside vendors for compliance of contracts and certificate of insurance 
• Assist with preparing and administering service agreements 
• Establish and maintain record keeping and filing systems; classifies, sorts and files correspondence for tenant files and other documents 
• Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and reporting. 
• Organize and code invoices in Workspace 
• Assist Chief Engineer with update of electrical analysis worksheet as utility invoices come in 
• Responsible for issuing Purchase Orders, tracking, and assigning the purchase orders to invoices as they are processed for payment 
• Applying tenant rents and open credits 
• Compiling and reviewing Tenant Billings and other misc. charges 
• Provide management team with aged delinquency reports and send late letters  

Desired Competency, Experience and Skills: 

• Must have a minimum high school education. Associates, B.A. or B.S. college degree preferred 
• Minimum of 2 years previous commercial property management experience 
• Experience with MRI, Workspace and Yardi software 
• Previous experience in real estate accounting and familiarity with monthly accounting cycle, including an understanding of A/P, A/R, commercial leases.

As a Process Productivity Engineer at ASM, you will work with our customers as a system level expert focused on product support for new product development. This role will require 25-50% domestic and international travel (depending on product cycle).

Responsibilities: 

• Drives and owns top customer productivity issues (e.g., defect reduction, tool matching, tool availability, etc.) for products in the field across the product life cycle, from new product introduction through high volume manufacturing.  
• Interaction with Hardware, Electrical, Controls, Product Support, Process, and Software engineering teams to become the system level expert on new products transferred to the field. Become an expert on the interaction of the products with the customer processes and resulting tool productivity.
• Provides guidance to engineering during the design phase of new products on key customer requirements and needs, including productivity specifications (e.g., defects, tool matching, throughput, etc.) and process best practices.
• Designs and conducts experiments, in addition to measuring and interpreting experimental output, aimed at fulfilling stated objectives using Design of Experiments (DOE) and Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
• Troubleshoots equipment problems and is personally and actively engaged in problem via “hands-on” modalities.
• Owns marathon qualification of new processes and products in the development lab, including data collection, analysis, and improvement plans. Works closely with Process, Product Support, and Hardware engineering teams providing real time feedback of marathon issues and recommended solutions.
• Ensure processes follow best known practices throughout the product life cycle, from before the first eval shipment through the HVM ramp. Share and proliferate new solutions across internal teams, including Process, Product Support, and Field Support engineering teams.

Education and Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree.
• Hands-on and/or course work experience with hardware.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability to characterize processes and/or hardware using first principles and experimental design techniques (e.g., DOE, RSM).
• High motivation, enthusiasm and curiosity to learn.
• Interested in working with new products, testing them and becoming a system level expert.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to clearly communicate advanced technical constructs in direct and concise manner.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, document, and improve software test suites.
• Perform both manual and automated testing in simulation environments and on physical semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Execute and analyze the functionality of engineering designs compared to intended outcomes, providing valuable feedback.
• Automate, streamline, and maintain QA processes to integrate seamlessly with CI/CD development workflows.
• Develop and implement quality standards, methods, and procedures to enhance existing business processes.
• Work closely with Process Engineering teams to test systems, validate engineering designs, and identify quality improvements.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s + 5 years of experience, Master's +3 years OR PhD + 2 years of experience. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or C#.
• Experience with system quality assurance or engineering for complex electromechanical equipment with integrated software controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
